Kozine from our forums has released his latest homebrew application for the PSP, RGB Colour Finder. This handy application displays the RGB code on the left-hand side, and a preview of the colour in the middle. This simple application was made by Kozine whilst learning to code in C, and is a useful tool for all the developers and programmers out there. This way you can see a preview of a colour before you put it in your code!

If you're not a programmer, then this application has no use (unless you like to play around with colours), but this is certainly a keeper for the developers out there. It's certainly better than remembering the codes!

like #1 said, its good sicne the on the PSP colors are significantly different than on a monitor, especially if you use an LCD hd VGA input tv like I do, the colors are so different, and then I have to change it on the PSP thx

fake

you relize that the PSP Programming Tutorials do this? All you did was create an empty image (that square), have the menu options feature (click right or left on a color) add to the image you created's backround... This is just like the example in the tutorials... just a backround added, the variables printed have been moved (very easy) and instead of filling the entire backround with the color, you filled an image the size of that square... Wait... Or you could have done it the easy way if you arent experienced enough to do the above, and make that lil square thing transparent, then do EXACTLY the tutorial, except you moved the text variable (easy as hell) and the bkitted your backround over the filled backround... Either way, you copied the tutorial, just edited ita bit to blit your backround and instead of the printed variables at thetop left, there on the right... Very easy... So this is just a useless, memory consuming app since Yeldarbs tut has this on it... But without the useless backround... You shouldnt get premium for this...

Eh?

I made the same thing in my LUA Devkit... but it had more features.. like a cordinate finder and a shape log..

......

The codes are on the right-hand side... These people are so idiotic...
by Gosugenji - 2006-05-21 12:05:00
DUH

I know the code is on the right side >_> i was simply stating that mine has a real time cordinate finder with cordinate / color logging.. logging as in which colors you used.. and yes mine has the same real time color finding feature with the CODE VALUES >_>"

uh huh

Wow, you guys can't stop amazing me !! It comes from the same people complaining that there is too much Lua applications and that people should learn more and invest time to learn how to code C... Now, that someone is actually doing the effort (and copying is the first step in understanding, although the author of this software did take the time to make his rendition usefull) you start *****ing on this person saying: "Well, Lua is better look, I did much better than you !" or "OMG COPY CAT !" Look guys, get yourself on a side... Lua or C... you can even choose both, but reality check... You wont ever be satisfied. Leaving this place is obviously an option for you, because you don't bring any constructive to this place. As for you kozine. It is indeed a very simple application and the fact that you credited the tutorial is very nice of you, it makes you look mature and give out your references so you don't take all the credits, which many people wouldn't have done, and for this you have my respect (even if probably it doesnt mean anything to you). It can be usefull for some people, but what's more impressive in this is that you took the time to read the tutorial, write the code (even if copying you still end understanding what you read, and many people complaining here wouldnt even understand C at all) and learn from it. This makes this application better than anyone else. I wish you good luck in your future applications and studies into the vast world of C.

@5

What do you have against kozine? Dont forget the kitty cannon clone you was creating! Thats right, you didn't give any credit to the orginal author of that game whilst in the making, and he actually had to make his way to your own thread to ask if you would include him in the credits. As for Kozine give credit where credit was due! And yes, Kozine actually took the time to learn C/++ when he knows he could've easily gone and programmed this in LUA. Be more constructive if your going to give people a hard time deving!
