Remotejoy GUI v1.51

DeMoN X has posted a new version of his Remotejoy GUI on our PSP Development forums. This is a GUI for TyRaNiD's Remotejoy SDL which lets PSP owners use their PC to display what's on their PSP's screen. A perfect little app for PSP owners who have problems with their unit's screen.

Here's the changelog for Remotejoy GUI v1.51:

Added full credits to TyRaNiD 2k6 for Remotejoy SDL and Schrade for batch files and script files, tutorial, and compiled binaries
Added killall batch to MyBase.Load
Accurate process checking of USBHost FS
Added mode menu, Not completed.

You need to have .NET Framework 2.0 installed on your computer before you can use this GUI. The Remotejoy GUI has been tested on Dark AleX's Custom Firmware 3.40 OE only. It may work for older versions but they have yet to be tested. Don't forget to read the readme files included in the download. Also, check out the video tutorial included in this post.

I've got lego star wars 2 on my LCD right now, this is working amazing with custom firmware 3.30 OE-A'.

I just made sure both plugins were working and started up the GUI; all you need to do after is start USBHost FS and then pick a windowed or full screen setting that you want.

Great job man, keep it up!

I love this app..u can play or view ur XMB fullscreen..The only flaw is the USB shuts off as i try to load a game!But Im sure thatll be fixed in no time..AWESOME RELEASE, can't wit to see more of it!!THX

Can't wait to try this out and future improvements. I have a laptop and S-video cables along with audio components (which can be found the friggin dollar store btw). This means I can play my PSP on my kickass HDTV and with a better joypad too. None of that buying PSP2TV garbage

won't work for 3.03 OE C but I don't know why the comand prompt windows close after 1 or two seconds everytime after I open them. I have net framework 1,2, and 3 installed.

BTW it would be nice if you could click home and close the test screen on the psp without rebooting.

the ones that you put on top of your psp are the garbage ones but the one you solder inside your psp is great and works better than this. it gives you a port to hook up your dual shock 2 and play psp games on TV on full frames per second and as conveniently as just plugging the AV cords.

i got the "The game could not be started. (8002014E)" message, but i figured out the prx's were enabled in recovery. they're supposed to be disabled first. and PSPLink was in my GAME310 folder and it worked fine. you dont have to put it in game150

how the heck are you all getting this to work, everytime I go to load any game whether it be a umd or iso from memory stick, the white screen of death with the psp logo comes on and just hangs there and eventually the psp system shuts down but the screen on my pc stays open with the white psp wsod, what gives, what in the heck am I doing wrong? (My) System software 3.40 OE-A I have the prx in the E: PSP\Game340\PSPLink folder please help, I'd like to enjoy games on my pc screen like everyone else, thanls......

so far ive gotten monster hunter freedom (CSO), dj max 1 (UMD), bleach hts 3 (UMD) to completely work.

ive gotten naruto, infected, mohh, and dj max 2 to start but once it goes to load data from ur psp it freezes

also whenever u try to return to my XMB it always freezes and wont ever shut off unless i take out the battery

please fix more games to work and more plugins to work at the same time (like CWCHEAT) and no more FREEZING

and music from the pc speakers would be great- faster speed for the video too-sometimes gets laggy like dj max bc of the games speed

this app has awesome potential and can be extremely sweet!!!

got it to show image and will go through a games intro, but when I go to load the game to play, it crashes. Music of the game continues, but the image freezes.. the FPS is constant at 30.00 to 28.00 ps but never get the menu to choose a saved game or even choose a new game.. ANY HELP?

haha i JUST had the same problem but found out you dont need to run the psplink on psp, if you want to run a game. Simply:

First in game.txt in psp mso:/SEplugins, just copynpaste the names of the prxs in that folder

Run in XMB-follow your current situation, but dont autoload prx in recovery mode

Run in-game- start psp in recovery, enable autoload prx, exit, reboot. run your game and load a save, and then in the remotejoy gui start usbhost, and whatever window you want. if it doesnt work hit f3 to refresh. enjoy...hopefully >_>

sick glad to hear you got your joypad working, but uhh did you have to change any of the .map files? im asking because im havin a bit of a problem with mine, as it slightly works but most of the buttons and no analog :( (logitech rumblepad if that helps?)
