To every cloud, there is a silver lining. And while Zion won't be following up his Quest of Link demo homebrew game with a full version just yet, he brings us the next best thing. Zion is letting everybody know that he's encoding the game into C format at the moment, and is now releasing the game's previous Lua code for everybody's enjoyment.

For the Lua programmers, consider this a chance to delve into handiwork of one of the most remembered LUA games available for the PSP - aside from Linkens Quest, that is. As a detail though, Zion notes that the source code is from an earlier version of the game created three days before its release - expect discrepancies between this and his Lua demo.

Lastly, he's also releasing the Beta 1 of his C format game engine - sort of a teaser of his success porting the game's codes into the new (and hopefully more manageable) format. Remember to accredit him when you make you next Lua based on his codes - skills like his deserve respect. Enjoy the downloads!

» Don't download

I don't know why qj wrote this article as I was already caught stealing someone else's source code and copying and pasting it into my code. I am an embarrassment in the PSp scence and I am an @ss. Please remove those download links as I suck by just copying other people's work. I have nothing better to do in life so I copy other people's LUA code. I deserve to die.

It's obvious you're not the real Zion, you wouldn't be saying this sh*# about yourself... *****.

» dude wtf

Dude shut the hell up, your not Zion.

Second, why are you flaming this guy, he coded everything himself (even sprites were made by him and his team) except for the background in the main menu which is the only copyright material found in the game which he has aknowledged.

Dude be thankful that someone is even making something for you at all, if I were him I would have quit a long time ago because of the ungreatful @$$'s like you in the Homebrew scene.

If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all.

I love when you update your crappy "games" Zion, it gives me great pleasure to let you know how useless and pathetic these little updates are.

» dumb idea

Ocarina of Time will never play on a psp emulator because the frame rate for the n64 version is 60 and the fastest n64 game for the psp now is around 30. The newer n64 games are not psp-capable.

Please help with the psp1.5 project. We need more testers but are making good progress. Email me at for more info.
