PSP homebrew Bop It - Image 1

Oh man, I remember so many fond memories of playing Bop It with my friends while drinking! Ha! Cool beans for ktix007, who's now released a PSP homebrew version of this crazy hand-eye-hearing coordination game from Hasbro.

For those who aren't familiar with this, Bop It involves the player holding the device and performing certain actions as they're given. Think of it as a Simon Says on 'roids. Obviously, the PSP doesn't have the bells and whistles and knobs that you can twist, flick, spin, or pull, so we're making do with simple button presses.

As ktix007 notes, this is still in its early version. It's the first one rolled out, and he's still got to add the music that goes with the game. Right now, you'll only have to rely on the text that flashes on screen to be prompted by the commands. He's also included three versions of the game: English, Catalan (his native language), and Spanish.

After PSP Daft Punk from last week, this goes into my memstick as a keeper! Woot! I just hope none of my friends drop my PSP if we decide to play this homebrew while drinking. Hehehe. BOP IT! TWIST IT! FLICK IT!!! SPIN I---crack!!!! Ohnoes.
