can can i generate a thumbnail?
People who don't want to 1) Pirate their operating system and 2) Don't want to pay 100-200 dollars every X years for it. There is nothing wrong with Linux. There IS something wrong with unfounded O/S fanboism and bias.
linux is the *****! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Fc6-beryl-2.png ^ do that on yer precious vista.....
linux is for nerds win is for lazy *****s and mac is for *****s
This application work very good, thanks for make this apps for linux !! n_n. I don't want to have my computer the 100% of the time infected with Microsoft products, i prefer have my machine working as it must. I have tried Windows vista and... I prefer not to say the bad thing that it is, for the people... don't upgrade to winXP SP4, thanks badvista.org
damn I thought this was a homebrew app to be run on the psp! :(
Sweet! I have been waiting for a new version of this to support 480x272. I tried editing and compiling this myself, but it didn't work, and I had better things to do. Anyway, Great Work! I will definitely use this!
can someone tell me how to compile this for ubuntu edgy? i only been runnin linux for 1 month i'm a nooob! i need step by step instructions with commands so i can copy paste ;-)
How would I compile this for the PS3 Linux?
Yes, Beryl is really cool! I personally dual boot Vista and Linux just because they both have good aspects. But, unless Linux starts handing out free computer classes with each distro it will never catch on, it's simply to complicated to use for the average user. Bottom line is you have to work to use Linux, you need time and patience, at first but, then it's great! It's just getting over that hump ,I think, which most people are either don't have enough time for or the technical experience.
thanks a lot, glad to see some Linux apps in the psp scene, very much appreciated
you can just launch the install.sh script and it will compile all the programs needed, they're all in source code
ok, i'm gettin frustrated here. i am a linux nooob!! i don't know crap about compiling anything. WTF do i open this with a text editor, terminal, i don't know i tried with the terminal and nothing happens, text editor, it just opens up the script not run it i need help. i been runnin ubuntu edgy for a month. i stood up all night last night until 6am tryin to learn bash commands i managed to move a directory using the terminal (yay for me!!) come on linux heads, help a fellow linux guy out.(step by step) oh all you other guys this isn't a windows/unix debate i'm running linux because i don't want to pay for windows or pirate it either. from what i've learned i like ubuntu but it ain't for everyone i'll admit. if i can get this running it would be great because i have to fire up my laptop everytime i need to convert vids for my psp. thats the only reason i need to use windows.i'm gonna put ubuntu on my laptop soon too, because the harddrive is only 30gb and it failing. once i buy a new harddrive it'll be running linux too.
lol unless you were stupid enough not to research on how to operate linux...linux doesn't suck
well i finally managed to compile this app. for some reason the install.sh script didn't work for me. so i compiled it from the terminal. it works pretty darn good. i like it, its very easy to understand. and it gets the job done
