A new version of PSPTube from homebrew developer SofiyaCat is now out! In case you don't know about the application, PSPTube allows you to play .FLV files without the need to convert them.
A couple of new features have been added since release 20080109, and a couple of bug fixes as well. PSPTube 20080113 has the following changes (changelog as translated by DCEmu):
- General
- Dailymotion login be correspond.
- When video download, file name can be changed.
- Downloaded video file name can be changed.
- URL directly input be added.
- Related Play
- Present time, full time and buffer information displayed.
- Can hide comments.
- Bug fixes
- Niconico Premier members had search problem. now fixed.
- When niconico video playing, freeze glitch now fixed
- Known bug
- 2X play in the WLAN is unstable, so please do not use.
- Video's full time is strange sometimes.

I like this app very much!
+ Aspect Ratio adjustment is way better now and you can seek through the video!
- You still cant comment YouTube Videos.
doesnt crash as much. would be nice =]
but i only can save on youtube, also video is still bad in stage6.
for dailymotion you need to open config.js in notepad and make a daily account and add it there. then save it. to watch vids.
hi, can you show us how to configure and make accnt? i have 3.71m33-4 what is the best folder should i put the psptube?thanks

i found that if you put this app in your game folder then start up irshell go to your directory on your psp memory stick and start up the eboot in the psptube folder it starts like if you have 3.71 m33-3
most of the horrible bugs/shortcomings have been fixed now. sofiya actually hears our feedback, which is good. thumbs up
and to whoever who flamed me and proclaimed that dailymotion pron can be viewed without login --> IN YOUR FACE
lol.
1. go to dailymotion.com and make an account.
2. after you made an account open config.js in notepad or rename the extention to ".txt".
3. then you'll see a line like this:
// dailymotion
// for login
psptube.dailyname = "";
psptube.dailypass = "";
in the quotation marks type your user name and password.
4. save it as config.js and put it back in PSPtube folder.
thats what i did and im able to search dailymotion.
also you can do a veoh and stage6 ill give you the lines, just add it to the config.js file. but i really dont know if it works or not but yeah i just tried it. here you go.
// veoh
// for login
psptube.veohname = "";
psptube.veohpass = "";
// stage6
psptube.stage6mail = "";
psptube.stage6pass = "";
hope this helps some of you.
extract the stuff inside:
(x for whichever drive your psp is)
x:\psp\game\
so psptube's eboot will be at somewhere like:
x:\PSP\GAME\PSP Tube\eboot.pbp
in the same folder as the eboot, there's a config.js
open that file up with notepad and look for the lines that look like these:
psptube.dailyname + "";
psptube.dailypass + "";
add in your nick and pass like:
psptube.dailyname + "mynameistom";
psptube.dailypass + "my*****isharry";
then hit ctrl+s
and you're done
what's weird is: my "slashes" disappeared and "equal" signs became "plus" signs

but the 20080106 version still works the best.
the best one that works is 2007/12/29c version of psptube no bugs what so ever.

i thank sofiya cat for this new awsome verion of psp tube but there is a real bad bug that needs to be fixed and i dont know if u guys have noticed it but when ur playing a favorites video and u switch from a video to another with out waiting for it to finish, it plays boths videos at the same time so there is mixed up video and sound and then it crashes and its really bad ive had to restart my psp many time because of it.

the app can also be run normally like any other apps without irshell.

hi, i am having trouble saving video to favorite can anyone tell me how to do it? I click on save and a meter appears (looks like it is saving) but when i go to favorite or playlist menu nothing is there . If i add vdeo to playlist , it appears there but i can access it in my favorite menu. Plz help . this apps is wicked and i thank you for it.

"pron", a.k.a. flagged videos. everyone could view dm without login. the flagged videos just wont load. go try it yourself, it's the same with IE and firefox
