Homebrew developer SofiyaCat has come up with another quick update with the new version of PSPTube 20071224, a nifty app on the PSP which allows users to view .flv file formatted videos usually associated with YouTube.

Much like its previous iteration, the new version is still prone to unexpected crashes and is noted to be still quite buggy. However, the new interface is finally in English so PSP users can have an easier time navigating through it.

Also, PSPTube 20071224 also sports a more refined search engine based on the ones displayed on the screen similar to YouTube's search tags found in every video.

The developer has warned users that the current build is still unstable and should use the application with caution. In any case, we've provided a download link to the file below.

Just a quick guide if you are a bit stuck

install in 3.xx game folder make a new folder called psptube

Make sure you select 3.xx kernell for the app to work.

if you don`t it will not run properly.

Start the app

use cross button to enter search,

Select button to make psp tube enter your search terms in psptube.

when the list of video appears use left right shoulder buttons to go page forward and backwards.

use circle to play selected video

up down buttons to scroll through the list.

Hope This helps

This works perfect for me so far.

Smart app and one of my most used

thanks SofiyaCat for a great app. Keep up the good work
