SofiyaCat's FLV player for the PSP, PSPTube, may still be in its evaluation stages but it's already become a popular program in the homebrew scene. Now, Arnookie has released PSPTube 010308, a slightly modified version to PSPTube 20080301.

Besides the rearrangement of the digits in the version release, Arnookie's PSPTube010308 Arnookies Modified 4 basically adds eight working search sites to the application:

Onsen
AmebaVision
Dailymotion (new)
SixRooms (new)
YouTube
RedTube

(Will stick when flicking through Sites so please press button twice fast to skip if you have problems. It is also slow and you can only search Four digit numbers for now) If it does stick just wait and it will work. If you find it too problematic remove it from sites folder.

Arnookie instructs us to unzip the download first and then have it installed in the game371 folder of your unit. Please make sure you know what you're doing before using the application, as PSPTube is still in its evaluation stages.

For more information, users are also directed to the release of PSPTube 20080301, where some people have already reported trying out Arnookie's program in the comments area.

Don't delete the entries from the sites folder!

If you do and try to replace them you will not be able to make them all work again. unless you replace them with the ones from this download

You will have problems if you try replacing the files unless you rename them the same as in this version.

if you go to the redtube site and put your mouse over thumbnails - the number shows in the bottom bar so memorize some you'd like to see and get the tissues out lol.

delete the psptube you have from the psp. Then install this one in the link below.

They should all work fine on all psp`s

ok so FreePlay made the redtube script not arnookie

and holepunchhole......... WHY IS UR NAME SO HARD TO TYPE? lol now to the point. when you use select to go to the site you want to search for videos press circle and then type in your video or whatever hope i helped

Hi dudes, I've updated Freeplay's redtube javascript , now you can search real words ;)

I also added support for TNAFlix (the search module + the browse module, read the readme.txt for information about how to browse into categories :) )

I had a quick look at their code, it seems they encrypt the URL of the video file (I assume the code to decrypt is hidden in the swf player source...), therefore it's harder to make than youtube :(

If I have free time I'll have a more in depth look...

thanks for the feedback , about giving a look over LOL there are other priorities... I'd like to add support for megavideo (bunch of anime there xD ), then I'll also add support for megarotic since it's the same system...

but I think what is really needed is an update to the video player... I'd love it to handle bit range request in order to be able to skip through vids... unfortunately the source code is not available :( lol, I just hope SofiyaCat realizes it would be useful and add it in a next version (I'm pretty sure he already has thought about it, since that's what we all enjoy on youtube/dailymotion/etc...)

let's just hope it comes out quickly ^__^

I really like PSPTube, it works great for a little bit, but then the LOW BATTERY display pops up and the PSP shuts off. This happens even if PSP is fully charged or Plugged in. Does this happen to anyone else, or does anyone know how to fix?

When its running, I try to select the Site button on the bar on the side, but nothing pops up. I checked the folder inside and all the scripts are in there. Can anyone help me?

press the "SELECT" button to switch between site. And press the "O" button to search.

Hi thanks for the extra scripts. However for some reason the new red tube one isnt working for me. while the search works by the words and displays thumbnails, it wont play the video. The older one where you search by numbers worked fine. Any idea's? running it on 3.71 m44-4.

wtf is wrong with this app? my dailymotion username and password are correct, but i can;t download pr0n to my psp. all the other videos are ok, except for pr0n. wtf is that? i cant view nor save it. and yes, im not dumb enough to make a mistake on my username and pass. i didnt delete anything. i jsut changed the favorites directory and that;s it. i deleted my old psptube. im on 3.90 m33-2.

gezz, everytime i downlaod it jsu tstops for no reason. this is crazy.

I have the same problem. Its has to do with the program. So just keep in mind that this isn't a Sony official, polished product; its just a homebrew made by other psp enthusiast that happen to have knowledge in coding. So its bound to have some errors. I'm just grateful for what they have already gotten to work. Maybe they might decide to update the js. But If they don't we'll just have to be thankful for what they have already done, or learn how to create java scripts our selves.
