PSPsetX v0.3 for 2.00 PSP

Placasoft from Team Emergency Exit has released PSPsetX version 0.3, the PSP firmware tweaking tool for 2.00 PSP. In this version, Placa has added the version changer function, which is ranged from v1.00 to v3.00. Other functions remain the same with PSPsetX version 0.2. We haven't been able to test this one on 2.01+ PSP since we don't have one. We strongly suggest ONLY using this tool on a 2.00 PSP. You will need the eLoader for 2.00+ PSP to run this tool.

Using this on anything but a 2.00 will most likely brick your PSP.

I am strongly devoted to keeping my two psp's at 1.5 and 2.0. When oI heard about pspset 3 I just about lost my mind. Just last night, I bought Syphon Filter for my psp 2.0. I thought since the beta was 2.5 I would be able to play the launch game. Nope!!!! I understand Sony wanting to have higher firmwares, but dont force me to when I dont need it to play a game that I "bought" and fully have the capablity of playing without firmware 2.01 2.50 or 2.60.



I am very greatful to fanjita. He has done wonders to maintain homebrew and to keep people happy at whatever firmware they are currently at.



I have tested this new pspset v3 on my 2.00 psp and it seems it is not working up to 3.00. I only goes as far as 2.5 When 3.00 is chosen, your settings will only say firmware 2.50. I hope he mamnagesto get this wonderful software to work, cause I am really looking forward to playing some online Syphon Filter.

so jimtim were you able to launch syphon filter using pspsetx??? i have a 1.5 psp, and am willing to update to 2.o and run this app, if it will allow me to play my glorious syphon filter? ... if not, it's time for me to buy another psp :*(
