PSPoste - Image 1

If you've been enjoying the Gmail-running and TrueType font support in Ben and Dave's homebrew app-slash-email client for the PSP called PSPoste, you'll be glad to know that they've once again updated their app to fix some reported bugs and introduce changes in the controls.

Changelog:
  • Completely re-wrote the contacts editing window.
  • Fix crash when adding a new account.
  • Fix crash when going to the compose window from the contacts window when no contacts exist.
  • Fix a bug that caused the default "PSPoste Team" contact to be added multiple times.
  • Changes to the controls to support the new contacts edit window.
INSTALL/UPGRADE NOTES: Unzip the PSPoste_Beta5_FW15.zip file to your PSP/GAME directory. Existing settings, contacts and mail will be preserved.

Naturally we would provide a download link for you guys but since Ben and Dave requested for other sites to just link to their download site, that's exactly what we'll do. It's not that far off fellas, just hit the "Read" link below and you're all set. Let us know if you find any more bugs, alrighty?

.

Can you please provide examples of mail settings for Hotmail, Yahoo and GMail? Thanks!

Quick Add Feature

In response to the mail settings examples; in the account settings tab, bring down the context menu (triangle) and expand the "Quick Account Add" item. Select the account you want to setup and after asking you for the username/password, the account details will be automatically populated for you. The "Quick Account Add" feature currently supports GMail, Yahoo.com and Yahoo.ca. Hotmail doesn't allow POP access.

...

That's very unfortunate, I'd really like to use Hotmail so can you please add it in your future release. Various e-mail clients have the option to support HTTP-based e-mail services like Hotmail, so please try implementing it on PSPoste somehow. I know lots of people use Hotmail and it would be an utter shame for us to be left behind. Thanks again!
