PSPoste Beta2 fixes some issues |
Ó
PSPoste makes us all giddy inside, what with all the emailing goodness. You guys seemed to really like this email client as much as we did, if jumps are concerned, but if you noticed some issues with their first beta, then you're in luck. The fellows at PSPoste informed us about some problems they felt needed some tweaking, and so they've come up with PSPoste Beta2.
The issue that got their attention was a mail duplication error that popped up every so often. If you're one of those folks who plan to make this one of their bread-and-butter programs for their PSP, then you know how annoying errors of the sort would probably be, what with all that added work to clean up your client. PSPoste Beta2 has opted to fix this, as well as tweak some other things for users. Here's the list of problems they fixed:
- Fixed the uids file not being read/written (mail duplication issue).
- Got rid of the "Bentest" icon on the main window.
- Fixed the hang when the app was exited through the home button during an assert comment. Although whenever such a message is encountered, it's best to hit triangle to get out of it.
- Fixed the crash on startup caused by an empty "reply to" field (any empty fields should no longer cause a crash now).
- Fixed an issue where the context menu wasn't being brought up in the address dialog.
While we'd love to host it for you guys, the fellows at PSPoste have requested sites covering their program to simply link back to their site. With a program like this, how could we refuse? As our earlier article on this mentioned, QJ.net won't be responsible for any content that has not been hosted at our download site, but you're welcome to wish them well either through our site or by checking out their homepage and sending them some love. Happy emailing!

this is a very professional looking program. since my pop and smtp server require authentication i'm out of luck for now and can't use this just yet. i can wait. thanks for the update. i suggest everyone try out this app.
I don't see why we have to go to a site with too little bw just to download it..if its homebrew they should let HOMEBREW sites help out and host the file. I'll pass for now
i am soo happy bout these updates! this app is definetly a keeper for me
psposte is my favorite homebrew but it is still a little confusing
is this one using the input method used by AFKIM? I thought it had a 'keyboard' that could be used by other programs - let's stay consistent
i think it's too much traffic for them to handle... can't even go to their site... they should consider hosting it here..
Did anyone get Hotmail to work on this thing yet? I can't :(
unfortunately like dude said it can't retrieve email from certain hosts yet such as Gmail due to SSL and TLS. but at least comcast works so i can get half of my email through psposte
i think they should add a calendar feature, and then make it synchable with outlook
Can this brick ur psp?
does this work for 2.00-2.60?
so how do i config this to work with yahoo?
or how do i config it period???
a tut would be nice
