Static and Sharko from the DreamWare development team have Updated their PSP Office homebrew application to v0.2. PSP Office (once a full version is released) is designed to be a fully functional office suite, including many different applications, operating almost like a shell - It'll be just like OpenOffice, but for your PSP!

Here's a list of features for v0.2 beta:

  • MP3 Player
  • Picture Viewer
  • Preview of the PSP Word's Keyboard/PSP Word's GUI
  • More stable menu
In the future, the DreamWare development team plan to add PSP Word (A mini word processor), and a new GUI. I won't spoil it for you, but the GUI preview for PSP Word looks quite good, and looks as if it will turn out to be very usable - even without a keyboard!

distribution rights

Who care about distribution rights on homebrew? Come on! It makes no sense! I would like to see the license this is being released under. If anything they just ensure that no one will use their OS, oh right, it’s not an OS, but oh wait, it still is, just another OS... come again…

Cool

Wow. Now all I need is a keyboard to plug into the PSP coz it sure as hell is gonna get tedious typing stuff in at 3 characters per second. Perhaps some crazy predictive text that completes the whole sentence for you is whats needed.... or maybe just a REAL keboard! We would have a retail one by now if sony werent so tight-arsed about giving out the information that would let companies develop one. Yet again sony tries to capitalise the world through the PSP and just ends up pissing us end users off! Nice one sony!

wanna whine some more?

Yep, no keyboard. Old news. Guess someone will have to find a fully equiped computer now to type their dissentary on the capitalism of Sony. Thanks for the rant, I'm sure Sony feels real bad right 'bout now.

Umm...WernherVonBraun, Static was one of the devs on the program, stupid noob. Anyway, I can't get this working at all. Would be nice, but it just doesn't load. Ah well, keep up the good work anyway.
