PSPHostWho loves danny_kay1710? We love danny_kay1710! PSPHost, the graphical interface support for USBHOSTFS, NETHOSTFS, WiFiController, and PiMPStreamer has always been a useful addition to any homebrew newbie's arsenal. Since a new version of PiMPStreamer is up, it makes sense to unveil the latest version of PSPHost as well!

PSPHost adds the latest updates for PiMPStreamer (which you can also download from us) as well as introduces some compatibility tweaks for people who aren't using Windows XP. Here's a full list of changes for you, if you're interested in seeing what PSPHost v1.8 can do:
  • Added the latest update for PimpStreamer.
  • Changed the way that applications are ended. GUI more compatible with operating systems besides XP.
  • Now periodically checks for any enabled server processes and will notify you as soon if one should end without being disabled through PSPHost. Because of this I have removed the Test WifiController option as the application will now tell you if the Wifi Controller setup quits straight after being launched.
  • Now has the ability to share all drives ("cygdrive") option for both nethost and usbhost.
  • Can now share two separate folders, one for USB and one for WiFi. So WiFi could be browsing all of your computers hard drives whilst USBHOST shares all your legally backed up ISO images.
  • Does not disable servers after changing options in the settings page, it now successfully restarts all servers running at that time.
If you think that's impressive, just use it, and you'll see the extent of the little tweaks that's been added here and there. Enjoy the app guys!

» OMG NICE!!!!

i got this to work on 2.71 SE B".

1.Get IR SHELL fixed for 2.71SE. install it. www.zshare.net/download/ir-shell-fixed-for-2-71-se-a-pochi-style-zip.html

2.download and install this program(PSPHOST v1.8)

3. Create a folder where you will keep your ISOs homebrew and music (files you want psp to use).

i called mine PSP. the structure has to be the same are the psp. ex

PSP

--- ISO

--- MP_ROOT

--- PSP

---- MUSIC

---- GAME

4. Launch PSPHOST 1.8 and right click on the small icon that it gives you next to the time and select settings change the directory to the folder that you will be using to share with psp with my example it would be C:\Documents and Settings\userv\My Documents\psp. select ok

5. Power on psp make sure the usb cable is connected to psp.

6. Launch IR SHELL

7. select usbhost0

8. Windows will make the "New Hardware Connected" sound and find the "PSP Type B".

A pop-up will appear to search for the proper drivers.

When it asks to search for drivers online, select "No, Not at this time" and click "Next".

Select "Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)". Click "Next".

Select "Include this location in the search." and browse to "C:\Program Files\PSPHost\driver" (or where you installed PSPHost).

The driver will install. Click "Finish".

9. Now to activate the USB Connection.

Right-click on the PSPHost Icon in the System Tray. Select Enable USB.

» Bugs

If you would like to report bugs feel free to contact me directly - it is much easier for me if you confirm that its a bug in person than for me to try and find them from random comments, also 64 bit will be supported in the next version, i needed to test out the drivers and which usbhost app i must use and i have now managed that just need to get them all integrated.

Thanks
