PSPeriodic - Image 1 PSPeriodic - Image 2

If Science is your thing then the image above should probably make you feel all warm inside. If you don't know what it is, then you really should go back to school. Propel from our forums has released his periodic table application for the PSP showing all of the elements, their atomic number, atomic mass (in this case described as "weight") and symbol.

This application has been made in Lua, and Propel has encrypted the Lua files to prevent code access until version 1.0 because  he expects to find some bugs in this release. If you find any, don't forget to speak up in the comments or in the forum release thread!

This application also includes a nice key which you can pop-up by pressing square, showing which group the element fits into, whether it be Non-Metals, Noble gases etc. This application should be very useful for any science students out there looking for an excuse to pop out their PSPs in class, as well as being a useful reference as a periodic table in your pocket. Who knows when you'll need the details of Technetium on your travels?

You'll find two versions below, one in 1.0 EBOOT format, and one which has been Kxploited for use on firmware 1.5. Enjoy!

The homebrew scene is clearly dying. A periodic table? Are you serious? Like this can't be done in Flash on the PSP's internet browser, there you don't even need firmware 1.50!

# bye bye psp sceneGuest 2006-11-04 11:36
this is the best thing released today, shows how good the psp scene is now, plus all the devs are going to start leaving like teamoverload did, all we need is a few of the top devs, like strmnnrmn fanjita and booster (who we accualy havent heard of for ages) to leave, then it will die out completely and everyone will go to 3.00

BTW can you not just download a pic of a preiodic table and view it on the psp? pfft

the link for the firmware 1.5 links to the fw 1.0 page. so both links for downloading PSPeriodic v0.9 go to the fw 1.0 page.

What a great day for all homebrew users.

Send this out to the people - I can see it now, world domination at version 1.0. I hope this gets cheatdevice!

And dont you pirates go pirating this, its too good and big for your memory sticks! 74675GB. The Periodic table of DOOM. The maker of this app should become the president and god should praise him.

Im going to have a party later on because of this, i invited the world over to my house, no, your not invited, just the worlds population, not you because your a fat noob.

Also, i am inclined to buy some doritos now, as this brew smells funky. In the famous words of Martin Luther King, Jr:

I Have a homebrew, I have a homebrew! x8973456

My psp battery is gonna run out soon, with this brew it only lasts 0.0002 milliseconds, corse, i can type this real fast me cos im 1337 now that this brew has enlighted my and i can now show my true colours. If anyone has anything bad to say about this app, chuck norris will flashbang you, he is a big fan you know - his PSP battery lasts for 0.0003 seconds, WOWz0rs.

Happy haxing people, merry homebrew, happy new brew, happy hallobrew, happy saint brewage day. Phones4Brew. PSPBREW.com,MICROSOFTgo neBREWmad.com,pspistehbre wage.

We wish you a merry brewage and a happy new battery.

# atomic number atomic massTrop 2006-11-04 12:49
No, atomic number is the number of protons, atomic mass is the sum of the protons and neutrons. The atomic mass is not a integer number because it is a ponderated average of the isotopes.

Let's see your homebrew, n00b.

Throw your PSP out the window and follow it.

Very cool. This will surely help me. Not EVERYONE has a wireless router. And not EVERYONE wants to wait for the *****ty internet on the psp to load up a periodic table. This is very good. As now all of you kids who sit on your ass all day can learn something. Nice job. I like it! ONE problem is they didnt include an indicator for radioactive and synthetic metals. That would be cool.

I always thought that aluminium and polonium were metals? If they are metaloid when do they act as nonmetals or gain electrons to form positive cations? There are some mistakes on this guy table...beware! But it is good enough for grades 10 and 11 in highschool....in Canada.

everyone complaining needs to shut the **** up. Some people could actually an app like this. The only comment I have would be that the table is slightly outdated (elements 110 and 111 have been properly named). Suggestions would be to include the periods and groups. Other than that great job!

# Not complainingGuest 2006-11-04 20:54
I'm not being critical here, but I have a couple of sheets of the table in places anyway. It's a little bit quicker to access than my psp is, and searching for it on the screen somewhere.

P.s, there is no need to go into technical things to try and confuse people. If you are going to be using this, it is unlikely that you will need to know any of that. For example, periodic tables can contain a lot more information than this one, for example the polarity scale number etc. Like I said, there is just no need...

I would like to see you make an app. like this, you are a scumbag putting down others work which they are passing on FOR FREE to us. But failing retards like you who don't even know what a periodic table is, should all *****ing die. No really, you are a waste of life and space and should be locked away until you starve and die. Don't write a pathetic comment back at me because you type like you are 3 years old, and probably speak that way as well. Please do everyone a favor and post COMMENTS!
