PspEncyclopedia v0.1 |
Ó
gunntims0103 has been working on turning the PSP into a pocket (well, vest pocket) database. Of course, released in DCEmu at v0.1, PspEncyclopedia isn't exactly an encyclopedia yet. Not with twelve assorted categories (see below for what they are) so far plugged into this thing's file library. At the least even at first build it is workable, slightly unwieldy, and it does put the world of offline information in that vest pocket of yours. On the other hand, if he's going to thank Wikipedia for "providing a lot of information," he also better be prepared for revisions every three months, or per vandalized page or neutrality dispute, whichever comes first. Especially with gunntims0103 planning on dropping 40 more assorted categories for the next couple of builds. Anyway, what's in this encyclopedia (Sora not included):
- American History
- Lua coding
- C/C++ coding
- Japanese History
- Evolution Theory
- Christianity
- Buddhism
- Hinduism
- Islam
- Judaism
- European History (just a bit)
- Big Bang Theory

I AM GOT FIRTS POST
hahahahah
This homebrew App seems pretty pointless. This is barely an encyclopedia.....If it were a whole encyclopedia, that would use toomuch memory (mb)...unless it has online searching...but we can already use the web broswer to go to wikipedia or something...
This is great! Now i dont need to go online and search .Can you make one for DS? So that my daughter can use it for her homework. thanks...:) good work..
now i can study where ever i go lol
Brilliant!
i released this on qj as well but they seemed to link to dcemu. I created this so that people would be able to use a portable encyclopedia where ever they go as well as myself. This is only a first build. I will be updating this at least once every week adding 50 catagories at a time. I hope to reach 1,000 catagories or at least stop when i get to v1.0. Hope people found this useful and dont worry i will update this and i promise it wont disappiont. Theres a bug with buddhism reading from the bigbang file. Il have this fixed in then next release
Looks good, thanks.
Christianity Buddhism Hinduism Islam Judaism LOL
nice app, now keep adding more basic topics to it ;)
This isn't even a homebrew app! It's more like a portal......A complete waste of space on my memory card.
Please make alot of subjects and make them accurate. Thanks alot for this software and I look forward to future updates!!!
You people are stupid. If he wants to make this program, let him! Just cuz you think it's a waste of time, must you state that fact to the world when nobody cares if you don't like it? He's making it for the people who actually WANT it, so you shouldn't have clicked the link to view the download if you knew you'd think it was useless. Why must you diss when someone makes something you don't like? Be glad there are people out there making programs, and this is a welcome addition to the list of programs that are avaiable for the psp. Grow up, people.
