Some people were asking for it, and there you go: an improved offline mode for PSPDictionary! Gefa has updated his homebrew translating app, and with online mode already being set with Google Translate and Babel Fish, he's now decided to tweak the offline aspect.

PSPDictionary v2.4.0:
  • Now the program is distributed under the GNU General Public License.
  • Improved the offline mode, adding the support for the translations freely distributed by Wiktionary. Now there are about 6000 translations for each language
  • Besides for the offline mode has been added a new language: the latin.
  • Some little improvements

» translation mistake^^

hi,

i am from Germany...

and i just wanted to say, that "DEUTSCHE" is not correct, it should be "DEUTSCH" (without the "E")

(some grammar example:

"a German man" would be "ein Deutscher Mann"

"the German word" would be "das deutsche Wort"

"in German" would be "auf deutsch"

and just "German" would be "deutsch")

but the sotware is grate!!

RESPECT!!

» More languages?

Would it be a hassle to have this thing translate to other languages? Perhaps the fabled Japanese and Chinese translations would get more attention (come on, everyone wants to translate Japanese!)
