 Homebrew - PSPconsole v1 - Image 1

Developer Hotter dropped us an email to inform us of his new homebrew plugin, PSPconsole. This plugin has several features that you can access straight from the XMB, including a calculator program and a Snake game. It will even let you sort your games. Here's the email from Hotter:

With PSPconsole you can view memory stick, delete, copy, cut files... sort games, use calculator, play c snake and more... when you are in XMB ;) Tested with PSP slim 5.00 M33-6.

Please consult the readme for instructions on how to install the homebrew.

Same, if I hit Select, my xmb freezes like it's showing the other menu, but nothing is there. I can't scroll through my xmb until I hit select again like I'm exiting out of the plugin.

Yes sir, always have vsh turned off. I'm sure my difficulty has to do with the fact that I'm on 4.01 (since my playstation emu freezes a lot on 5.01). Maybe that could solve raggjimmi's problem though hopefully.

this one's really great for me. i hope to see a lot of stuff added in the future. it could be really great to have the possibility to open files with preset app's from the browser menu. really nice plugin, thanks Hotter!

great plug in! my favorite vsh plug in i've had.

few bugs in filer, sometimes doesn't show files and folders. if it could unzip and unrar similar to pspfiler, that would be amazing. a pong or tetris game would make this plugin perfect

ok 2 things,

1) this plugin is so damn awesome that I actually had make an account to say so

2) compatibility:

works on PSP 1001k(fat) with 5.00m33-6

Conflicts:

if you have CFE your PSP will not boot with this and CFE activated(I find this more useful then CFE so i ditched it :P)

like to hear more compatibility post's

# sorry abou another post but..jeremygwhite 2009-02-15 10:12
i've noticed that the square to show info is a problem in internet browser to switch tabs and the quick scroll and photo view when you want to rotate pictures. that's about it. i would say to not have it open in the browser, but i love playing snake when waiting for pages to load or when i forget where i saved a flash game or portal under using the file browser haha. keep up the good work and looking forward to updates.

i had the same problems with CFE but i never use it so it was alright haha and for compatibility i'm not much help since i have the same set up as asskickulator haha

# one bug i just foundjeremygwhite 2009-02-23 05:44
i have ctorrent on my psp and the game categories plug in so it was under my app folder in games, but it wasn't working correctly so i used pspfiler to move it to game. i downloaded what i mean was trying to but this has nothing to do with this plug in

what does relate to this plug in is i decided to test out the file explorer on pspconsole with how well it moved complete folders, what i got is, it moved the folder, it moved files, but it made more than 30 corrupted files with symbols and no file format, and probably about 40 folders what used the same random characters and letters. i have a 4gb mem stick, but when i looked under game it said that one file was 22 gb, and it said the same when i connected to my computer. i tried to delete it using pspconsole, pspfiler, and my computer, and nothing could delete it. i had to back up everything but the one file on my memory stick, then format the card, then move everything back.

I still love this plug in, just thought i would explain a pretty big bug i found in the file explorer. sorry, i tried to find somewhere else to post this, but i couldn't find anywhere better than this page. sorry for the extremly long and probably annoying comment.
