Homebrew developer Fleyc, with the assistance of friend Chedal, just updated his pet application PSPalm bringing it up to version 1.1 Alpha. Those who missed our last coverage on this should know that the program is actually a Palm OS theme coded in Lua to be run on our PlayStation Portable.

Just like the last version, PSPalm v1.1 Alpha comes with several useful applications such as Calculator, Clock, Configurations, Games, and even an Explorer for the Memory Stick that allows looking at TXT, HTML, and others. The new additions according to Fleyc include:
  • heading helps
  • Word (functional, which uses the TwinTail editor, 2005 - ema; with launcher of script lua integrated)
  • interface improved
  • bugs corrected
The download below includes a Readme file but like we said, the program was created by French developers so you might need to do some translating first.

Sounds interesting

I think I'll be checking this out, wonder what it means by Word though. Is it like a portable Microsoft word or just some sort of notepad?

Translation

well, I cant blame the developers but I really want this in English. Oh well, I'd better just pay more attention in my French lessons at school
