PSP XMB Theme Duranium - Image 1

For a couple of months now, we've been sharing with you a lot of XMB themes for your dear PSP units. These programs are really exciting. It gives users the feeling of having a new system or something like that. With that said, we're happy to announce that another coder released a new pack for all of us to enjoy.

Homebrew developer PSPCulture dropped by the QJ.NET Forums (www.qj.net) and informed us about XMB Theme Duranium. The package is really something as it features high quality 32-bit icons including the battery and volume graphics. Please take note though that this should only be used by 3.03 OE custom firmware users.

WARNING: Those who have 3.10 OE installed will find their PSP units bricked if they attempt to use the topmenu_plugin.rco file in this pack!

Installation is rather easy. All you have to do is follow these simple steps:
  • Connect your PSP to your PC via and USB and enter the recovery menu.
  • Select the advanced option and then ~Toggle USB (flash0).
  • Copy the file (excluding this readme) into the vsh/resource directory.
  • You may wish to backup your original files first.

This is a nice theme, keep up the good work! Just wish there was a fix so we could use the top menu plugin on 3.10 oe-a.

.

Instead of the "OMFG DONT USE XMB THEMES ON 3.10OEA!!!!" they should put "You can use it, just make sure to take out the topmenu file".

by - 2007-03-06 14:51:27
ehh

this is retardness, most of us using 3.10OE!!!

by - 2007-03-08 03:38:57
hey

hey! why i can't download in this site?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

by - 2007-03-08 13:14:24
stupid

Why the f*ck are all these themes for 3.03 OE-C only? Pisses me off I have 3.10 OE-A and there's no f*cking themes for it. I like the newer popstation and don't want to downgrade.

by Mister Common Sense - 2007-03-08 13:55:47
too bad

Looks like you're screwed. If you read the article, you would see it's only for 3.03 OE firmwares. I have 3.10 OE-A too, but I read the article and didn't install it so my PSP is ok.

by - 2007-03-13 07:41:54
idiots

you all *****in moan so why look and try and if you no wot you doing it wont semi brick you tossers learn more before you try and do it and ps love the top menu off it

by - 2007-03-15 11:26:00
guy

were can i get da gta vice city stories theme from i cant find it can sum1 help me plz

by PSPCulture - 2007-03-18 04:24:04
Thanks

Thanks for the comments guys. This theme will not brick your PSP if you are using 3.03OE. As the topmenu_plugin makes up 99% of the themes I make, I always state that 3.10OE users shouldn't install the theme. For those 3.10OE users moaning about the fact they can't use these custom XMB icons, why not downgrade back to 3.03OE, or better yet, start trying to work out a hack so they can be used.....

by - 2007-03-27 17:00:42
x

So can this be used on 3.10OE if you do not add the top menu file ? You just said your top menu plugin makes up all of your themes so i'm assuming it is critical or in no sense would it be a theme.
