WiFile - Image 1Homebrew Developer Luis Pestana is back again as he announces an update to his PSP WiFile Transfer application. We're sure many of you guys have been enjoying this PSPFTPD-based app which allows your PSP to remote transfer files with a PC. This version introduces a couple of updates, most importantly a fix to the "close FTP" bug that was reported in its previous version:
  • Exiting without close FTP connections freeze, bug solved
  • Created a intuitive graphic interface
  • MD5 Checksum added
Further details should be available in the bundle's README - remember to read that. Now, in case you're wondering how this application works (but don't want to risk installing it...yet), Luis has enclosed a Youtube video demonstrating what WiFile can do. Enjoy!

» bad cam

I dont think its the cam, but i think the way he transfers it to the pc, my opinion he is using a usb cable maybe a 1.1 not a 1394 firewire cable.

are you?

» focus?

The video is useless, as it only made my headache worse trying to make out anything.

To the person who stated that it was due to the way he transferred the file, not that it wasn't focused,

you gotta be kidding me.

» Ok ok here we go..

First many thanks to Luis Pestana for a great homebrew ap that i use daily ! Anyone having problems getting it running should read the readme, It really is very simple !

Notes :

I like the new GUI , really good job. Fine bug fix and also a client count . On the down side i found transfers to be a little slower and had my ftp client crash when moving a large file for the first time. For now i will stick with 0.01 .

» No, seriously... I've used it before.. but...

I have used the previous versions with no problems... I have it in the GAME Folder with the kernel set to 3.03.... I keep getting the error: The game could not be started (80020148)

I have not had any problems with the other ones before running with those settings...

» hmmm

by Da Mexakin - 2007-03-03 06:36
» WON"T RUN

I read the readme, as most of you have pointed out. Put the PSP WiFile Transfer Folder in the "GAME" folder and set my kernel for "GAME" folder to "3.03". I have moved all my other games to "GAME150", when i try to run the PSP WiFile Transfer program and i get the "The game could not be started (80020148)" screen, the README doesn't give much info. I've folowed it perfectly, runni ng 3.03-OE-C.

ANY HELP, THNX
