PSP WiFile Transfer v0.01 |
Ó
According to Luiz, he based his work on Zx-81's PSPFTD, which was originally meant for 1.5 firmwares. He also says that PSP WiFile Transfer will benefit developers who use WiFi WPA cryptography protocol and DHCP. Since the program can work with 3.03 OE-B, you can definitely call this the beginning of a great new app.
Why do we say "beginning?" Well, it's a debut, so expect some bugs here and there. Furthermore, the actual release lacks a readme, which makes it a bit more daunting for newbies to PC-to-PSP wireless connectivity. He does mention some basic installation instructions on his site though:
The PSP WiFile Transfer is made at OE firmware rules, then it run in user mode and because of this its cant have risk to brick your PSP. The homebrew must be placed in GAME folder, not in GAME150 like old ones.
Perhaps some enterprising soul can help him out with making the next release even better? Send some comments and technical suggestions his way and let him know you support his project.

11Jump it up!It's a date with the Tomb Raider this April

Tags: PS2, Crystal Dynamics SCi, together with developer Crystal Dynamics, finally announced today a release date for Tomb Raider 10th Anniversary Edition. According to them, the new title will be launched on the PSP, PC, as well as on the PS2 this coming April. The game, as you all know by now, is actually a remake of the first ever Tomb Raider title.
Speaking of which, let me refresh your memories about this one as it has been a decade ago when it came out. In the original title, Lady Croft was hired by a powerful syndicate to find and retrieve a mythical object known as the Scion. Now, being the intelligent chick that she is, Lara discovered that she was just used as a pawn in some larger scheme. She then takes the matter into her hands, goes against the syndicate and uncovers for herself the real mystery surrounding Scion.
So what's the mystery? Well, I wouldn't be giving that much information as I don't want to spoil your fun. Anyway, it would only be just a couple of weeks before Tomb Raider Anniversary becomes available. Be sure to pick up this game and then we'll talk about it again.
