We don't know Portugese but we do know cool. Needless to say, Luiz Pestana is way cool. He's currently working on a PSP WiFile Transfer, a new FTP server program that'll work on the latest custom firmwares. That being said, he let us know of its debut release, which brings us to this article on PSP WiFile Transfer v0.01.According to Luiz, he based his work on Zx-81's PSPFTD, which was originally meant for 1.5 firmwares. He also says that PSP WiFile Transfer will benefit developers who use WiFi WPA cryptography protocol and DHCP. Since the program can work with 3.03 OE-B, you can definitely call this the beginning of a great new app.
Why do we say "beginning?" Well, it's a debut, so expect some bugs here and there. Furthermore, the actual release lacks a readme, which makes it a bit more daunting for newbies to PC-to-PSP wireless connectivity. He does mention some basic installation instructions on his site though:
The PSP WiFile Transfer is made at OE firmware rules, then it run in user mode and because of this its cant have risk to brick your PSP. The homebrew must be placed in GAME folder, not in GAME150 like old ones.
Perhaps some enterprising soul can help him out with making the next release even better? Send some comments and technical suggestions his way and let him know you support his project.

It doesn't work for me. It gives me an error when I select a connection.
It's kind of retarded having to require cables to transfer files when it has wifi. Finally the psp gets its birthright function.

I just installed the app and it does nothing for me. It shows both my net connections but will not connect to them. I guess this does the same thing as the VSH FTPD MODULE BY CPASJUSTE but it is in a eboot not a prx.

I like this one alot. Work great. I like that it tells you your IP. thats nice if your on a DHCP network. Makes connecting to your PSP easy. I was running the FTPd from the Network Update Icon but now i use this app. Keep it up!

has anyone been able to get this to work on 3.03 oe-b and if so how. i have followed everything and im just getting an error on the screen. i can see my wireless conection but nothing happens when i press it

this app only work with 3.0 kernel... verify in the recovery menu (holding R at startup) if the 1.5 kernel under GAME folder are disabled. if this enabled, the app dont work. the old 1.5 homebrews can be loaded under GAME150

i guess most of u know that the iphone has a full-featured web browser-- why doesnt the psp have 1? firefox would be really cool on the psp---you could do more things that u cant do w/ the psp web browser-- that would b sick-- this could b a task for 1 of u devs out there--like Dark_alex-- u've done a great job DAX! sum body do that please!

why would you use this if you can just run IrShell from 3.03 OE-B and dont say you cant cus i use it all the time all you have to do is install the network update or location free player to reboot then put irshell150 on your psp but make sure its in the PSP/GAME/BOOT directory and go into recovery and choose for it to auto boot at startup and now each time you click network update or location free player it will launch IrShell.

That's all I care about. Personally I think the iPhone can just suck it. But I know there will be people that buy it.

Fazes o seguinte, metes-te dentro dos lençóis, tapas a cabeça e o corpo todo e depois peidas-te com muita fé, enquanto agarras na psp. Decerto agora já funciona este e todos os programas que quiseres no firm 2.80. Se não resultar repete o procedimento.
