Start it up!

Raf has released PSPRadio 0.38.12, and it has been patched to work under the DevHook environment on firmware versions 2.+. As many of you already know, PSPRadio allows you to stream music and listen to Shoutcast servers (WiFi Radio) from the comfort of your PSP.

According to the changelog, these are the changes since PSPRadio 0.38.11:
  • (sandberg) Core: Implemented a direct VRAM version of Danzeff for use in Links2.
  • (raf) Core: Now root of /PSP/MUSIC is also used in the local files screen. (It is shown as 'MUSIC')
  • (mbf) Core: Patched to run under devhook
  • BUG FIXES
We have two files available for download: Static and Dynamic. The Dynamic version includes Retawq and Links2 and PSPTris plugins. If a plugin stops responding, you can try L+R+START to take you back to PSPRadio.

Download: [PSPRadio 0.38.12 DH]
Download [PSPRadio 0.38.12 (Static)]
Download [PSPRadio 0.38.12 (Dynamic)]

» One must have app to PSP,

Thanks!

» it will not work for me

when i try it from devhook 0.46 2.71, it just freezes at the PSP playstation portable screen and restarts the psp. it probably because i wrote some of the devhook files to my flash, some one should check in to this

by sinX - 2006-08-23 20:03
» Devhook

Isn't there suppose to be another folder to run under devhook? A dh folder with anther PSPRadio folder in it that goes in PSP/GAME?

by b4it - 2006-08-23 20:10
» 5

5 - Yes. You just copy two folders into /PSP/GAMES/

by DarkGhost - 2006-08-23 20:22
»

You are downloading the wrong version... download the devhook version from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/pspradio/PSPRadio0.38.12_DH.zip?download and the just copy the PSPRadio foder into /PSP/GAMES/

by Seraph - 2006-08-23 21:15
» freeze

It freezes my unflashed Devhook 2.71, too.

Anyone tried this other download from "7." yet? Is it legitimate?

by Noobbit.chslappa - 2006-08-23 21:23
» @8

yup it legitimate.

by sinX - 2006-08-23 21:58
» @6

Thanks a lot for your reply but, my question was rhetorical. I was pretty much implying that qj didn't include the third download that came with the official PSPRadio release that allows you to start PSPRadio while running devhook.

by Seraph - 2006-08-23 22:20
» what am I doing wrong?

I still can't get it to run. I have copied the PSPRadio folder from the third download into my dh folder on the PSP. But again, when I start PSPRadio from within DevHook 2.71, it freezes. I am using the dynamic version. Any ideas?

by DarkGhost - 2006-08-23 22:31
»

You don't need to copy into the dh folder. You just have to copy the PSPRadio folder into /PSP/GAMES/.

Do you have devhook? This program never use to work for me in v1.5..If you run Devhook download number 21. link..then copy the pspradio folder to PSP/GAME and when ur emulating devhook on 2.71 you just select pspradio.

All you have to do is....

2.If you want to use pspradio on devhook then download the file below.Go to the PSPRadio folder and copy it as a NEW folder into into /PSP/GAMES (when started click start to configure setting to get it to work)

Ummm... have u event tryed to config the IP adress in the PSPRadio config file??

by Kay - 2006-08-24 17:29
» Connection problem solution

I was getting the same error when trying to connect. The message said something about not being able to resolve host.

I had my PSP set to static IP and changed it to automatic, and the connection started working.

by DarkGhost - 2006-08-24 23:33
»

To solve that problem i created another connection profile ( leave it with the default name ) and it worked.

» lillolollo

now i know everyone has been told this before but i had all the same problems. heres how i did it.

1. download from link in #13

2. devhook to 2.71 before putting radio on psp

3. open .rar file, then open dh folder, drag and drop pspradio folder to game folder

4. go to games on pro duo and and run pspradio

5.when it starts push "start" button and verify that you have it set to use the correct IP address and make sure you save options.

6. pick genre and station and if all went well that should do it.

this is how it worked for me so i hope it worls for you too.
