MP3 players for the PlayStation Portable are literally a dime-a-dozen. However, the latest release from developer gadget2k adds a unique twist to this handheld media player. Entitled "PSP LyricShow Player", it basically displays any available lyrics for a song and synchs itself to whatever you're listening to.

The only catch is that you have to download the specific .LRC lyrics file for the respective song you're listening to. The latest build of the app also includes some interface changes, making it more user-friendly than ever.

To be more specific, here's a quote taken from the changelog of the latest version of PSP LyricShow Player:

v0.9.7 update is purely interface. In order to adapt to its own clone of the new interface, the adjustment of the various elements of the location. Do not have to separate from the button, using HOME. (Code on your own while enriching the dialog written by the generality.)

The file bundle can be extracted directly into the /PSP/GAME folder and has been confirmed to work exclusively on PSPs running on 3.xx kernels. The project's release thread includes additional information regarding the app, so don't hesitate to check it out.
