Aion informed us that the PSP Kanji v2.1 file that we hosted earlier has a missing Eboot file. It's a good thing that he was kind enough to provide us with a download link for the fixed download for PSP Kanji v2.1. Go ahead and grab it for yourself. Again, if you encounter any problems, let us know through your comments.

Download: PSP Kanji v2.1 (fixed download bundle)

Sammy Fatnassi is back with an updated version of PSP Kanji in tow! Now on version 2.1, the Kanji-learning software for the PSP, now has a quiz mode for Katakana and Hiragana, quiz in both English and Japanese, plus it now has a simple menu that you could use.

Now, in case you haven't been reading on our past reports, this app will let you create Kabanji/ Hirigana/Katakana lists. It would also get you covered in the pronunciation department and will test your Japanese knowledge via the flashcard quizzes that were a staple of the app ever since it was released.

In the future, the dev plans on revamping the user interface with better graphics, add support for skins and other languages, and plans to make it available under Linux. Oh, and before you try to learn a new language, better check out the release notes that comes with the download so as you'll have a better grasp of the app. We thank Aion for the heads up!

duh, because they actually want to learn a new language. Most people just stop with the alphabet and just claim they know Japanese when all they can really do is pronounce a lot of stuff. Plus, Kanji is just Chinese. Even Koreans used it in their early language.

No Eboot

There IS no eboot in the archive. Not one, not two, but zero.

Missing eBoot

My bad, the eboot files got deleted before I sent them. You can regrab the package from : http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id+175476

to be less stupid than you, maybe ?

for example some people happen to live in Japan without being japanese...
by - 2007-04-01 01:06:42
Hmm

Don't know much about programming, but can you make it work with a notepad file that can be edited in someones own language? That would be nice .
by - 2007-04-01 04:44:54
cool

just to get this post somewhat up Please add a feature for multi-kanji words. Just create some feature where people can create their own list of the kanji and the meaning, or something along the lines of that. A word such as ' Jitensha ' (bicycle) consists of 3 kanji. Now it would totally benefit my study if I wouldnt have to create paper flashcards again and again to study my vocabulary. ^^ @asdf Are you american by any chance ?
