Over on the QJ.Net Forums, Kanji LEarner">billylee8 has released an application which he calls PSP Kanji Learner. It's essentially a set of videos that detail specific kanji characters which users can learn about by watching it on the PSP.

There are 80 kanji in this first set he's released, with the kanji for words such as "river" or "insect." Just run a set through the video player in "shuffle" mode to learn about the different words.

As an added note, there's a Side A and Side B to the releases. One side plays the kanji first for five seconds then switches to the English definition, while the other side plays the opposite way.

In any case, make sure you check the readme for information on how to use PSP Kanji Learner, and drop by the forums to offer feedback on this application. Enjoy!

however, a bunch of videos do not equal an application.
