UMD_Operator v0.0.1 - Image 1From Scarface comes this very useful application for your PSP: UMD_Operator v0.0.1. This one basically allows you to rip your UMD to the root of your memstick, as well as start a UMD, check its size, or even run iso.

Here are the features:
  • Runs Without luaplayer
  • Get UMD Size
  • Rip UMD to ms0
  • Start UMD
  • Start ISO
  • Exit Function
A couple of other dev notes as well:
  • If you want to use ISO options you must set UMD ISO MODE to Sony NP9660. You can do that in recovery menu or in vsh menu.
  • If you want to use to Start ISO function you must put the iso in: ("ms0:/ISO/game.iso")
Don't forget to check the readme for further information and installation instructions!

If you didn't appreciate the app, why comment?

BTW, Xplora pwns Filer.

And this app is v0.0.1. so he can add more to it if he so chooses.

Anyway, I would recommend this to say...

someone who can't directly launch ISOs and UMDs since this can. Also, the concept is quite simple, a umd-ripper and launcher with ISO support. Nice job!

kinda neat, but it's been done before. 100 times. Hope he adds something to make it stand out.

Actually, Filer is way better than Xplora. Why? less bugs and much more features.

I respect your opinion but to me, Xplora is the better of the two. It has everything that filer has, minus the intimidating gui, binary view and the metronome. I get direct access to flash, I can copy files simpler and I can launch apps. Not to mention, USB mode and a few other goodies in the package.

doesn't it defeat the purpose if it rips to the root? It should rip to ms0:/ISO/ to really be of any use at all.
