Homebrew dev JK108 has released a new mod for SofiyaCat's PSPTube app. If you haven't heard about it yet, PSPTube is a homebrew app that lets you watch flash videos from sites like YouTube and DailyMotion on your PSP.JK108's mod is called Ultimate PSPTube and it's currently at version 1.1. This release has quite an impressive list of supported sites, a list of which is in the readme file bundled with the download. Here's the changelog for v1.1:
- NothingToxic is now included
- Tube8 is now included
- Hyperlinks in descriptions are now replaced with their text
- Example: "<a href="http://www.somesite.com">Here</a>" becomes "Here"
- HTML Image tags are now removed from descriptions
- Example: "<img src="http://www.somesite.com/someimage.gif">" is removed
- Small bug fixes

Crunchyroll is in this build. What a nice surprise.
This new dev updates really quickly. It's good that this app keeps getting better and better, it really has a lot of potential. This version seems faster than the other ones I've tried.
And for those who don't know, launch under the 5.00 kernel in folder 5XX under X:/PSP.

Do u need to register or modify sumthing in d files to view vidoes on sum sites?
To one of the comments above, you dont have to put it in the 5XX folder..you can also put it in the GAME folder..works just the same as putting it in the 5XX folder.

You need to have Custom Firmware Installed on the PSP to use this app (hombew app) and right now is not the best time for PSP 3000 hombrew since there is little knowlege of it.
he/she said they were having trouble getting the "get url" thing to work. They had that problem with a few other sites too, sofiya should really come back and work together with this person!!

wht i got is not the best for me to
get the Custom Firmware install on my
psp 3000 then rightt?
...but i haven't recently upgraded my custom firmware, and i'm not able to use my web browser on the PSP Phat for awhile now. Is that a coincidence, or do I always need to update to the new one, for example 5.0 for the wifi to work? I don't know if there's a trick or not to getting my PSP's browser to not give me an error signal. It has worked, albeit spotty, in the past.
