PSP homebrew - Turn your PSP into a PC status monitor

If you happen to have an extra PSP lying around, here's something you can do with it: turn it into an extra monitor. Well, a status monitor for your PC, at least.

To be clear, this app from developer avi doesn't actually turn your psp into a secondary monitor. All it does is output your PC's status (CPU usage, CPU temp, etc.) onto the PSP screen. Still pretty cool if you have a PSP that you don't use anymore.

The PSP app itself is in Lua. The computer-side app is written in Python. Both are included in the download below.

hmm...

Seems this works over a wireless connection, fat lot of good that will do me since my Wi-Fi switch is broken. :-/

i wish they had a windows version and non lua. i have never used lua before. however i do use ubuntu which is what they are using in the screenshot.

It's a Python app. It will work on Windows if you install Python. Please try not to spread misinformation...
