Homebrew coder Chiri_13 has released the first version of Tool Folders, a homebrew application that allows you to create and restore all the necessary folders on the memory stick, Flash0 and Flash1.

This app is ideal for users who just recently installed a new Custom Firmware  but can't create all the required folders. The homebrew is available in English and Spanish.

what exactly does this do that formating the stick on a psp with cfw doesnt? What folders would it make in f0& f1??

» Eh..

I'm assuming it makes a simple visit to the Recover Menu long and tedious by creating a EBOOT that does that same exact thing. All this does is format those memory units with default folders, so if you used it on your memory stick, you'll get the standard folders like: PSP, VIDEO, MUSIC, PICTURE, ISO, seplugins, etc.

What is wrong with homebrew these days...

Oh, as far as flash folders go, folders such as vsh, dic, and whatnot. As for flash1, I'm unsure since I only mess around in flash0 :/ - But I do know that flash1 contains things like seetings (such as your nickname, internet connections, psp settings, etc.). I know this because when you format that flash memory, everything is reset, so it's kinda like a BIOS on a PC if you get the picture that way.

» Well...

It doesn't delete all your data by formatting, that's what. It's actually a really good app for some of us.
