There's a new PSP plugin released on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum called RemotePower from developer basfreak. It looks like this plugin allows users to disable or enable the auto power off feature of the PSP's remote control jack.

Here's a video to better illustrate the whole thing:

There's no readme file in the download, so we recommend dropping by the QJ.NET PSP Development forum if you have any questions about this plugin.

As per right now, I don't know what it does exactly. It turns on a pen with a light in it?

what the f is that suppose to mean?

and these stupid videos should stop!

i boycott lousy videos, these people just wants fame fast. have you ever heard of a TRIPOD, it is where you put a camera so you can use both of your hands for demonstrating a product, if you dont have 1 then please improvise. and the video above doesnt even prove if the cable is directly connected to the psp, it could be connected to a power supply adaptor for all we know.

The remote port is able to "supply" a current to a device ( such as a LED? ) along the cable, it however only powers this device 3 times to perform some form of check...

This plug-in forces a constant power supply.

So if you WERE to put a LED inline with this power supply, this plug-in would be immensely useful.

However, for the rest of us, move on.
