Homebrew coder and QJ.NET forum member flofrucht has released an update for his Radioplayer app, a simple yet effective app that lets users access several sites through the PlayStation Portable's Internet Radio feature. This release sees the addition of a few more sites to those already supported by the app.

Below is a list of supported sites. Note that the app always accesses the mobile versions of the sites listed below. If you want more sites to be added, feel free to tell flofrucht on the QJ.NET forums, through his Twitter or on his blog.

  • Google XHTML
  • Google Images Mobile
  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • MySpace
  • Hotmail
  • Wikipedia
  • IMDb
  • eBuddy
  • Yahoo Mobile

Changelog:
  • [v1.1:]
    • added Yahoo Mobile
    • added Google XHTML
    • added Google Images Mobile
  • [v1.0:]
    • initial release

How to install?

Nice release. I never use the Internet Radio feature myself.

I don't get how this has any benefit over say, going into the regular browser and going to those sites.

The regular browser runs out of cache long before the page loads. This pack is all mobile versions and very useful. Thanks flofrucht.
