Nick Swardh has graciously informed us that a new version has been rolled out for his PSP homebrew app, the PSP Video Converter. This release now ups the development to version 3.43, and involves a whole lot of bug-squishing.

To those of you new in the community (and you're always very welcome to join us), the PSPVC app essentially is a free video converter for your handheld, capable of converting almost any video-format into PSP compatible media. So if you're into using your PSP as a video player as well, then you really ought to check this out.

Check out what's new in this version update:

• Fixed an FPS bug causing FFmpeg to fail
• Fixed an audio bug causing a low pitch sound
• Fixed a "Constant Quality" (CRF) bug
• UAC check removed (if you need to use UAC: "Run as administrator")
• Prevent splash screen from taking focus when finalizing video

Us this the only person still actively updating his/her homebrew, besides Dark Alex ofcourse... the homebrew scene is dead.

I've been using this for a while now and I've been wondering why they've/he's been calling it homebrew? Isn't it a top-quality video converter?

indeed, this converter works great, especially converting my ogm files. this is the only converter that lets me choose the language, and subtitles. Its super customizable and this is arguably the best psp converter out, and believe me, ive tried over 6 converters.
