Homebrew coder PartQual has recently released a new version of pspHBSortTool, a handy homebrew tool that allows you to organize all your favorite homebrews accordingly and works hand-in-hand with BubbletuneÂ’s Game Categories plugin.

Developer's note:

Following the success of Bubbletune's Game Categories I thought I'd write a little tool which allows you to organise the display order on the PSP of your favourite homebrews. This tool allows you to change the order your homebrew appears on the PSP within the categories... ...and for those using the context menu you can change the order of the categories too.

Tested on WinXP connected to PSP running 5.00 M33-6, both phat and slim, and Game Categories v9.

You should make a version that runs on the PSP itself

Yeah, PSP Filer can do this. It can also do a lot more than that. Considering you'll only do this once or twice a month or something, PSP Filer is more than enough.

PS: Press X once you start Filer and press the left arrow. Or was it the right arrow... Left, right... it says on the screen.

This let's you sort the game categories themselves as well as the homebrew/games within each category. PSP Filer (my favorite app, heh) doesn't really work for sorting things within Game Categories.
