» Question

Does anybody remember the Homebrew called "Ad-Hoc File Transfer?? it does the same thing, the only downside to it was you couldn't transfer files where 2 psp's had different kernels Ex: 3.XX to 3.XX, NOT 3.XX to 5.XX

Can Filer now transfer files regardless of kernel??

» @ T-Max Blaze

idk, i have Ad-Hoc File Transfer cause i feel like its less complicated than Filer is. and I don't need to have RAR or Zip files in my PSP, for what?

anyways i've never done a file transfer with someone who has not had the same kernel as me. everyone should have 5.XX Kernel by now seeing as 5.00 M33 and 5.50 GEN are the latest CFWs and have been out for some time now.

another thing i like about Ad-Hoc File Transfer is that if you have it on your PSP and your pal doesn't, you can use game sharing so both of you can have it!

Great stuff. This will make getting roms easier since a couple sites use this format. Thanks man.

» great :)

this is a great homebrew and i love all the zip support

the only thing i dont like about this homebrew is its retro text only interface, theres a homebrew out there called xplora 1.8 which has a great interface and makes me feel like im browsing files on the computer but unfortunately it has limited zip support

would love to see a homebrew as powerfull as this with a gui :)

The whole concept of pspfiler is to be able to do EVERYTHING you need to do right on your PSP. Move files, rename, etc. Also, say you don't have access to a PC, so you use your PSP's browser to download a new homebrew or something you want, but oh no! It's RAR'd! However shall you play it!? Then you remember "Oh yea! PSPfiler has RAR/ZIP/7z support!" and all is well.
