Wow, hopefully we'll see some of those features in a future CFW. Perhaps 6.00 m33 will have an option to dump a UMD.
you kidding me, any future cfw will have intrnal funcions, umd dumpung will not tbe one of em
You know, every feature in this but the file manager and "see the information on PSP" is available in CFW 5.00 M33-6. You wanna dump a UMD in CFW? Press select in the XMB and change "USB DEVICE" to "UMD Disc" (press right, it's the last option).
There has been an option in any cfw since Dax came out with the vshmenu. You have been able to do this since 3.52 m33
i remember when i was first able to dump one without the use of that umd dumper app, iwas excited.
as a cfw user, you have PSPFiler, use it to dump UMD on-the-go.
Imagine, no computer, can your rip the game? When they say UMD ripping, it means directly from the UMD to the disk.(no computer again) What you are talking is changing the usb input, so you would have to copy it first to the computer, and then to the psp again... So no, you cant rip a game from the PSP with m33 (at least not directly as this app or Filer)
I still don't see the point. If it's meant as a time saving process and you wanna play the game as soon as possible, well, you have the UMD already. Besides, almost all of the time my Memory Stick is full of games and homebrew so I wouldn't even have near enough room for a full UMD rip. Also, chances are you'd need to plug in the PSP during the process due to battery life during heavy use of the UMD drive. The only use I could see out of this is for wanting to play a multiplayer game with someone who only has a single UMD and you have no computer near you, an electrical outlet, and a Memory Stick with enough room on it at the moment. Other than that, I'd just use the USB process since I store my PSP games on my computer anyway.
