Homebrew coder plum's MP3PlayerPlugin lets PSP users listen to their favorite MP3 tracks while playing games on Sony's PlayStation Portable handheld. It's basically an updated version of the old music.prx plugin with even more features such as different play modes. It even lets you play music while you're on the PSP XMB. It also doesn't use up a lot of memory.

Version 1.7 comes with a fix that addresses a bug that occurs while using the plugin to play music on the XMB screen.

Changelog:

• XMB screen while playing has been fixed to return from freezing.
• Adjusted the behavior of the Plugin

• L + R + Left / Right = select other songs
• L + R + [] = Pause
• L + R + O = Change the order of play (in order, randomly, etc.)
• L + R + Triangle = Play the song again.
• L + R + Up / Down = change in volume.
