PSP Homebrew - Linux Kubuntu KDE4 Mobile DEMO |
Ó
dridri85 has come out with his Linux Kubuntu KDE4 Mobile DEMO homebrew app for the PSP. Since this is but a demo, you'll just need to "spend less than 2-3 minutes over because there was no application still functional." I guess that means cos it's still a work in progress, there's not a lot going on with this right now.
However, it does seem like the plan is for you to be able to open three Windows office, although for this version, you can only open one. Anyway, we think it would be much safer for you guys to read the translated notes yourselves, lest we muck it up even more:
I finished the first draft of my Linux, I present you the demo, you'll probably spend less than 2-3 minutes over because there was no application still functional.
You can open 3 windows office, but for now there is only one.
If bug you (2 times 3) a "blank screen, it displays and records information related to the bug, they are stored in a file named" exception.log "send me if it arrives;)
It is possible to change the language by modifying the file "kubuntu.ini"

I've tried Kubuntu Linux before and it has a really nice UI. I think it would be great to see something like it to come to the PSP platform. The only concern I had was if the language could be changed but that was answered right at the end of the post.
You should know this DEMO has nothing to do with Kubuntu (or Linux as a matter of fact), just as the author - dridri85 - states: Après avoir vu des messages sur internet, je vais clarifier les choses : Ce n'est pas un portage de Linux, c'est une copie créée en C. Translation: After seeing some messages on the internet, i want to clarify something: This is not a Linux port, it's a copy coded in C
I use kubuntu there is no Winamp, neither is there WinAmp for linux! DO NOT BE SO OBVIOUS if you are going to do a freaking fake, this is not linux! you make a mockery of such a wonderful thing! idiot. >:(
Why do these guys keep making shells, ripping off the art files from Linux distros, and then claiming it's some flavor of Linux? Here's a theory: They can't make their own graphics. Have you ever seen one of those really cool fiberglass kit-cars that sit on a VW chassis? This shell is as much Kubuntu Linux as those kits are Ferrari Testarosas.
man, that's just an icon. anyway, amarok is way better than winamp or anyother music player.
