PSP homebrew - Image 1Here's a quick update release from Torch, the dev behind the Hold+ battery-saving plugin for the Sony PlayStation Portable. This new version, Hold+ v3.42, has only one bugfix:
  • Fixed a bug in the faulty Hold switch detection method. It should now be very resistant to problems such as CPU remaining underclocked due to faulty Hold switch.
If you're using an older version of Hold+, I recommend upgrading to this one. If you're not a user, then check it out. This is one of a handful of really useful plugins for the PSP. It's definitely recommended.

» why don't see a need??

is your psp clocked at 60 MHz all the time or something?

i sure have a need for it. usually i like to use my psp at night, when i'm in the bed, suppose to be asleep. And my dad comes in my room to check if i'm asleep, but before he opens the door, i click on the Hold switch and BAM, no backlight, no LEDs. So he thinks i really am sleeping. now if i didn't have this plugin, i wouldn't have my psp the next day ^ ^ thank you Torch. you IS duh MAN. xD

» absolutely the best working thing on my psp, 10/10

i thought this was gonna be like one of those apps that let u down because most app never work the way they describe it, but this one, absolutely a 100% best, this will come really handy when i start school again (my music means alot), i don't need to hold the screen button to go black then switch the hold on, now i just slide the trigger to hold and everything is just perfect, screen automatically goes black and the anoying green power light switches off. Such a power saver as mentioned.

Also how u can change songs and volume by holding the select button when its on hold mode, that's just geniues...
