Homebrew coder neur0n has released a pair of new plugins for custom firmware-powered PlayStation Portables.

The first of these is Gameboot Skip which, as the name suggests, lets PSP owners skip gameboot screens. This plugin is especially useful to those who are running CFW 6.38 ME since that particular CFW doesn't have a gameboot skip option built into it. This plugin is for 6.3X PSPs.

The other plugin from neur0n is SimplySaver. This plugin lets you modify the PSP's web browser so that you can save any downloaded files to a location of your own choosing. This release works for 6.2X and 6.3X PSPs. The developer notes that the first version of the plugin was originally made by Zer01ne.

You can discuss the Gameboot Skip and SimplySaver plugins on the QJ.NET forums by clicking here and here, respectively. Thanks to forum member flofrucht for the tips.

Despite nearly 1,000 earthquakes in 1 month, 2+ tsunamis, and loads of radiation spewing out upon Japan, he has managed to almost single-handedly keep the scene alive. All hail the new Dark Alek!

Hmm... Then would game boot skip work for m33-6? (The built in feature doesn't work with it. For some strange reason it was working with 3.40oe-a, though, I used years ago)

Adjacent, your joking right? As his cfws & plugin updates are well appreciated. He is not on any near of the level of Dark_Alex and what he contributed to the PSP scene.
