Homebrew coder Bubbletune has released a quick update of Game Categories Revised, a handy homebrew plugin that allows you to categorize and organize your PSP's Game menu. The latest update has fixed an isolated crash issue from the previous release.
Changelog:
- Should of finally isolated and fixed the crash that occured on some PSP's when pressing triangle on an icon, sorry for the many updates.

nice job, i like the ablitiy to custimize all the names. now all im waiting for is flash0 flashibility
the plugin 2 flash homebrew.
btw great add on! i just wish i could have head 'bout this b4 v5. keep up the great work. oh and how 'bout adding a sort floders from A-Z option, i know some ppl out there would like that but i like the way it sorts it by the date the folders were created more. :)
i've got a adapter for 2 microsdhc and this thing was a godsend when it came out. my folders- apps, favorites, emulation, homebrew, games, and the (almost) mandatory uncategorized.

i tryed that, doesnt work. theres a Home brew sorter out that sorts from hom many times you used said game (no iso's),http://forums.qj.net/psp-development-forum/155867-release-homebrew-sorter-plugin-v0-5-a.html
and wow bubbletune works fast
Im trying to get one of those for christmas
Versions:
- PSP 1000
- 5.50 U3R
- mvspsp 2.3.1
- Game categories v5, 6, or 7
To recreate the hang:
1. create a sub directory under ms0:/PSP/GAME called CAT_Emulators/
2. copy msvpsp into the CAT_Emulators/ directory
3. in XMB load the Emulators category
4. system hangs when trying to read the details of mvspsp
5. reset the PSP
6. move mvspsp to ms0:/PSP/GAME
7. open uncategorized category
8. system works correctly when reading the details of mvspsp
Can others confirm.
Note that this does not occur with cps2psp (which uses the same build environment and shares a lot of source code)
