» umm.. i smell a v5.1

every time i press triangle on the xmb (on any icon) my psp freezes.. I am on a fat psp 5.50 B2

i disabled all my plugins, so i know its not a compatibility issue with other plugins.

Can somebody else with a fat confirm this, or is my psp out of wack (wouldn't be surprised)

» umm

it only mentions that pandora wont work because the battery is internal >.

» Yeah right

The way the PSP handles BMP files, you can't create an exploit with a BMP file. Due to the lack of alpha layer in BMP files, you get a stupid FF inserted every 4 bytes, so there's no easy way to load code.

I believe ur firmware wasn't install correctly u should try to reinstall the custom firmware again, cause in my psp works fine I'm using the same psp as u a fat one. the voice of the experience is talking.

» okay

so it is happening to one other user. Ill give reinstalling a shot, but i doubt that is the issue

» Wow

This plugin is awesome!

Where is the API to edit stuff in the XMB like this?

I'd love to edit the Exit Game menu into something more like Custom Firmware Extender, and remove whatever turns off the music player when you go into certain folders

i constantly use "run ms0:\psp\recove ry\eboot.pbp" in recovery menu. but i cannot categorize it there. any ideas other than not putting it there?

» Great

Worked perfectly for me on PSP-1000 5.50 GEN B2 (Full).

It's easy to setup and looks great.

Great Work!

» Not sure what you mean, but

Try copying a second one to a Categorized folder "CAT_Recovery".

» Sorted

Just found and tested this:

It sorts your homebrew in Game Catergories!!

I take no credit but can confirm it works on 5.00m33 :)

» qj hides slashes

the way I deal with this is to put all my utilities (irshell, nandmanager, rec overy etc) in the ms0SLASHpspSLAS Hgame folder, and then edit the translation file from Ucatergorized to Utilities or Tools or wSLASHe

It's probably a later version of PSPAppman or "Application Manager" That's what I used to use, good to know there a newer ones.

» @ guy with the crashes

That doesn't happen on my Phat, my Slim, my sisters Slim, or my friends Phat. So I'm not sure why yours crashes.

» @mr.x256

so, can i hide the one which is in ms0-psp-game-recovery?

or will still there be a uncategorized category?

i dont think i can do that. best solution is not to use this plugin imho.
