PSP homebrew - Custom Firmware Enabler v3.01 now supports PSP-3000 |

Xenogears and becus25 are on a roll, finally bringing their Custom Firmware Enabler up to version 3.01. Custom Firmware Enabler lets you enable most CFW features under ChickHEN.
The biggest addition in this release (well, in the earlier v3.0 release, actually) is support for the PSP-3000. They've also added a Network Update option, although apparently they're still looking for a server for that. As you can see in the screenshots above, the app's GUI also got an overhaul.
Here are the changes in Custom Firmware Enabler versions 3.01 and 3.00. The latter has the meatier update while the former is a bugfix release.
3.01 Changes:
- Fixed a bug that prevented loading plugins VSH.
- Added support for PSP 3000.
- Improvements in GUI.
- Added update system over the Internet (Wanted host).
- Added system to block the official updates.
- Added new configuration options
- Free UMD Region.
- CFWEnabler Online Update.
- Hide Pic0.png & Pic1.png.
- Use version.txt.
- Fixed a problem that crashed into the console when plugin is not detected.
- Added registry Hacks (Change buttons, Enable WMA, Enable Flash Player)
- Added a menu to set the version.txt.
- Added a menu to set the speed of the CPU (VSH and Games).

Like they are, Becus and XEn are simple Lamerz... Since the begining they have "forget?!?" to say 2 things. _The crédits are only from: PSPGen, GENyUS, MaGiXieN and Miriam. They have used the Reboot.bin code... lol Since the start, The GEN "modules" (in french) have used. No credits.... And now, few hours after the GEN release, They have found something great... Oh My Gad, Awesome.... From QJ, a serious website it's strange. Talk about that because they're from DAX forum lol. ask to DaX what he think about that lol... Ask Davee, Miriam and ALL serious dev. BEC and XEno are nobody just Lamerz. The real knows guy. ,) Sorry for my bad english and see you very later for an other news. Just before the 2 lamerz stole it :)

It flashes the files in your flash0 (i think), so one good thing about it is that you don't need to reinstall CFW once you completely reboot your psp.
@rackham--Don't act like you know all the *****s.....and yea there were previous version of CFW enabler before the GEN-A release. So Douchbag stop acting like you are coding all these *****s and be thankful that they are sharing it with us.
i have the cfw loaded but it wont play any of my cso's or iso's, it will play my homebrew. Is anybody else having this problem, and could somebody help me with why the cso's and iso's are not working?

yeah they are going into the "ISO" folder that is at the root of the memory card.
So does it stay on Custom Firmware if i shut my psp down and turn it on right after?
Soon enough we will have permanent cfw...
It goes away and you have to restart the process, just like hen-a

go to settings->configurations-> and change UMD mode to "Sony NP9660" I tried it with cso file and it worked.
How strange, PSP3000 support, just after PSPGen came up with GEN-A a few days ago... I guess cool ideas really do fly in the air...

Neither requires you to reinstall. Both require you to relaunch.
I just bought a used PSP with firmware 5.50. Anyway to downgrade to 5.03 so I can use this?
How do i get to those settings? I know how to do it with a normally modded psp, but how do i do it with this custom firmware???

try using the UMD. that is if you actually own them.
I have GEN A working on my buddys psp 3000 its the one that came with ratchet and clank its silver.... It took forever for it to boot up the HEN (like for real 4 or 5 days) but it finally worked and now has GEN A on it.... My buddy also has a piano black one but the HEN loaded quick on it...
it is inside the When you open CFWLoader. there you have a settings options.
They used the M33 modules for this CFW enabler.. its kinda like a 5.03 M33.. GEN used them too but they have added their own features onto Dax's 5.00 M33.
They released CFW enabler before GEN released and its M33 files they are using not GEN..
nope..I heard they have a 5.50 exploit but i think they are waiting till the PSP GO! is released.. before they unveil it.
Does this work with the 5.50 firmware installed on a PSP 3000?
