Port or Shell made from scratch?

I'd like to know whether this is the real thing made for the PSP or just a shell based off the visual looks.

I'm using CFW 5.02 GEN A. I don't see a readme explaining this, but the Android main folder must be in GAME, not GAME5XX. I haven't tested GAME150, but after looking in the lua files, it's clear that it won't work there either. I can't get my CSO of beats to run from the ISO folder. Homebrew DOES load for me, though it essentially closes Android and exits to XMB from that homebrew. If you use the cpuspeed setting, if you cancel out of the OSK, this app crashes. Cancelling out of the OSK at some point in the calculator doesn't work either. Honestly, I'd say this is more suited to be labeled an alpha release, not really nearing the stability for a public test release. As a first taste though, this shell shows promise - it's just a long way from being practical and useful.

For just a second, I thought maybe it was an actual attempt to port Android. I don't know enough about the OS, I'm guessing it's not open-source in any way? An Android booter would actually be an amazing application if it was open. Or if, somehow (I never thought DIVX would be on PS3,) Sony licensed it as an alternate OS for PSP. I assume Android would not be as suited as Sony's own OS (and PSP uses MIPS, not ARM processor), but any other alternate means of accessing the machine could potentially help Sony finally mend some fences with the homebrew community and officially invite smaller software creation efforts to come out without compromising its own DRM.
