PSP Game Maker - Image 1The thing with homebrew games, or applications for that matter, is that they often start out small. Some people react and say "I can do a better application than this", but as a coder, you just have to keep on developing your project. Eventually, you'll achieve dev greatness with a polished app.

That is exactly what homebrew developer Re_AnimAte did to pet project PSP Game Maker. Basically, this application is a working compiler and tester for Lua games made in C#. The coder assures everyone that this is no longer a budget but a decent Lua compiler, and we agree.

A lot have actually changed since the last version. Re_AnimAte promised a Compile feature, and that has been implemented in this release, along with a Test feature. Other improvements to PSP Game Maker includes Save As and Open features. Despite this, the coder mentioned that he is also working to improve the Compile feature so that all that users will have to do is select their PlayStation Portable (PSP) and the application should save it there for them without having to manually select directories or folders.

Re_AnimAte also said that to be able to use the latest version, you will need Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0. So, for your convenience, we've also uploaded that file below. As always, the coder will appreciate comments and feedback for the program.

» Here's an idea:

DON'T RELEASE A NEW VERSION EVERY DAY.

Instead, fine tune until you have a somewhat workable version. Check the Wikipedia article on the software development cycle; you're releasing pre-alpha software.

» u got a problem?

i have to my visual studio expires today and ive gota release a version till then so shut up

the development cycle is relative to the developer! is there anything wrong with sharing pre-released software? plus i didnt ask for allll the other game maker release to be posted on here they were all posted so i could see what people wanted! 0.07 is the first actual proper release that i ASKED to post

so dont go telling me about deving software! what have u made!?
