PSP Game Maker - Image 1

Remember Re_Animate? He had a concept for creating a Lua-based application called the PSP Game Maker, which some lauded as a a bit of a joke. Well, it certainly is far from a joke now, as Re_Animate has released PSP Game Maker v0.04, allowing users the chance to start automating code for making games and other applications. It's still in testing and development, so it's pretty raw compared to a full app, but it does have a Lua compile feature.

According to Re_Animate, "it's still a bit budget and only the LUA compile feature works with a premade test feature out of the program." Still, it should allow users to test the code they've placed inside the game maker. He also mentions that the app "will report to you when you compile it," presumably to tell you when it's done compiling.

In any case, a little assistance from the homebrew community in terms of support and suggestions would probably help him make this app a work of art. Give it a try and let him know what you think of it on our forums or through this post here. Enjoy!

» lol, nice work for a concept

dont know much about coding but seen the grief this guy got for his idea....*****ty criticism if u ask me, for a "so called" community.

nice work Re_Animate, GiNathan, u owe this lad a bit of help after buzzin off his idea in his last post.

i know that some devs think theyre above others cos they can string a bit of code together but not all do, those that do hide the help are just scared to be one of the norms when everyone learns a bit.

this is supposed to be a homebrew scene or community, i didnt see none of that when his last idea was posted.

..anyhow, good luck m8 hope this comes to fruition so others can get their head round it

» dest.

First output it, then move it through MoveFile(). (I don't know if C++ has that function, but most languages have)

weejewel: C# !+ C++ ;)

I know that in c++ you could just use System("move from to"), to execute the command prompt version of 'move', but i dont know C#, so do a little research
