PSP Game Maker v0.04 |
Ó
Remember Re_Animate? He had a concept for creating a Lua-based application called the PSP Game Maker, which some lauded as a a bit of a joke. Well, it certainly is far from a joke now, as Re_Animate has released PSP Game Maker v0.04, allowing users the chance to start automating code for making games and other applications. It's still in testing and development, so it's pretty raw compared to a full app, but it does have a Lua compile feature.
According to Re_Animate, "it's still a bit budget and only the LUA compile feature works with a premade test feature out of the program." Still, it should allow users to test the code they've placed inside the game maker. He also mentions that the app "will report to you when you compile it," presumably to tell you when it's done compiling.
In any case, a little assistance from the homebrew community in terms of support and suggestions would probably help him make this app a work of art. Give it a try and let him know what you think of it on our forums or through this post here. Enjoy!

Okay, if you continue this you'll rock :)
dont know much about coding but seen the grief this guy got for his idea....*****ty criticism if u ask me, for a "so called" community.
nice work Re_Animate, GiNathan, u owe this lad a bit of help after buzzin off his idea in his last post.
i know that some devs think theyre above others cos they can string a bit of code together but not all do, those that do hide the help are just scared to be one of the norms when everyone learns a bit.
this is supposed to be a homebrew scene or community, i didnt see none of that when his last idea was posted.
..anyhow, good luck m8 hope this comes to fruition so others can get their head round it
Wahou !
Can't wait to see WoW made with this !
v 0.05 is coming out with a built in save as and open as feature
i need some C# programmers PLEASE HELP im really straining hard to figure out how to code this
this app can now test and compile the code you generate
i have yet to figure out how to make it compile to a designated place
i wasnt tryin to put his idea down i thought it was a great idea i was only tryin to say that i didnt think he was really going to put in the time and effort but i definatley think he has done a great job on this and should continue to make it better
and i cant help him at all i have no knowledge of any C# or LUA i only know C but i might try to learn some and see if might be able to help him out
woah wait a minute this is a LUA game maker if someone could make WoW in LUA that would be amazing i would literaly ***** my *****in pants i am not even jokin
no u most likly cant make a WOW with LUA man hes just being a shlong about what i tryed to make b4
ya i thought he mighta been talkin about that
haha i forgot i still had that little stick rpg thing we tried to make. that took so long and i still havnt even finished tha first area. lol
Good to see this idea turn into something usable, good luck with app and stick it to your critics! :)
Thanks for the news boy.
Hoply there will come a next update for this program.
Greetzzz Scarface(psp-hacks.nl)
First output it, then move it through MoveFile(). (I don't know if C++ has that function, but most languages have)
Does this mean I can play Nintendo DS now?
weejewel: C# !+ C++ ;)
I know that in c++ you could just use System("move from to"), to execute the command prompt version of 'move', but i dont know C#, so do a little research
What codes does the game maker use?
