pspftpdZx-81 has released yet another build of the one-and only PSP-FTPD FTP program for your PSP today. This FTP client allows you to access your server (i.e. Computer) through FTP commands whenever you want, wherever you want using just your 1.5 PSP, PSP-FTPD on your PSP, a PC FTP client and a WiFi connection. This  allows you to send and retrieve files or complete directories to and from your PSP without any cables! Zx-81 recommends Filezilla or FireFTP as your FTP client of choice for the PC.

Here's whats new in this version:
  • Added battery status
  • Added memory stick free space status
  • Displays FTP commands received from clients
This version only works with firmware 1.5, with the source code included in the download, so any 2.0-2.6 users out there should download PSP-FTPD v0.3.5 which can be found here. Why go through the hassle of using your USB cable when you can use this!

» Client or Server?

So ist this is a client or server? The article seems to confuse these things ... -__-

» Haha, nice try.

However, really like this app, but the problem is that big file doesnt work to copy (it always get interupted, but the MS will think the file is there which mean much space will get lost, and only way is to format the MS) and it wont work to edit files (for instance, if using the pimpstream you have to change the ipadress in a text file on the MS to the computer you are using to..pimp/stream files\", but it doesnt work if you are using to edit with this app).

Anyway, I will try this latest update and see how it works. Thanks.

» Excellent

#3, this is a a server. The author of the article doesn`t seem to understand the difference, though ...

Either way, thank you zx81, all your work is excellent. I`ve said that many times already, hehe.

» meh

I'll stick to USB, it's way easier.

» Limited use.

This software's use is limited. The novelty of accessing your FTP-Server through your PSP wears off fast once you realize you can't launch/load ISOs wirelesslfrom it.

Dark_Lord, the server is runninh on your PSP and you use a PC to access it, . I'm afraid you understand as little as the article author about FTP.

» Let's try

I've tried an older version and worked fine. Let's try this one too. I'ts not an essential app but a useful one. Thanks Zx-81!!!

» New?????? http works on any version

There are http servers out there that will let u acces your computer just as an ftp would

the thing is that http protocol is a lil slower

but considering the range of a router

the speed of the hotspot

your upload

it doesnt mke much of a diffrence

i been running an http server on a computer for a 2.7 psp for some time now

and i transfer everything wireless

if u want more info
