PSP Filer - Image 1Mediumgauge has once again released a new version of the PSP Filer homebrew application. This long-running file organizer homebrew project for Sony's PlayStation Portable handheld system now stands at version 3.6.

Version 3.6 doesn't bring as many new features and bug fixes as version 3.51. Still, it now lets users actually create folders on the RAMDISK itself. It should prove useful to those who like to have their files really organized.

The download below includes a Readme file that contains installation and usage instructions. It's available in five different languages, so just pick the one you're familiar with and read it thoroughly before installing PSP Filer.

Thanks to dcuellarpimp for the news tip.

It's a really useful application... It's nice for copying files between MS Duos when you don't have a computer around and such. This update makes it even easier, now that you don't have to remember file structure and such. (ramdisk folders ftw!)

» nice

this looks pretty cool. good job.

can it browse contents of a umd or the wlan also?

sorry im gonna stick with file assistant though

but keep up the good work there

» dude...

it CAN browse umd. it can even back up your umd or personal use. you can also access flash0 and flash1 to repair or flash files. there are more features that is not related to organizing but thats a different story. file assistant sucks cuz it takes forever just to move a 500KB file. super slow! Filer is much better. but i think i noticed a bug. it takes forever to load the ms0 everytime i start it now. it didnt do that before.

Thanks for the info.

But I found it humorous how the prev. comment mentioned the program, not laughing at Filer itself ^^ though thanks

» file assistant vs filer

well i access umd, flash 0 and flash 1 on file assistant. and it doesnt take forever for me to move anything on there. its kinda an old app, but still rated as one of the bests for me.
