PSP Filer v3.1 |
Ó
Homebrew coder Mediumgauge has just released the latest version of his PSP Filer application. In case you're not familiar with his work, the app, which is now at v3.1, is a homebrew file organizer for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). What makes this program especially handy is that it allows users to do tasks such as swapping out custom themes or icons directly on their PSP, instead of having to do it on their PCs.Mediumgauge has made the following changes for this version of PSP Filer:
- Changed icon design - made by RaiderX
- General:
- Added language selector when Filer runs without filer.ini.
- Added German mode. (thanks Experiment1106 to translate)
- Modified analog pad speed in color edit mode.
- Made mp3/wav playback stop when suspended or tuner launched.
- Filer:
- Fixed a bug that caused when seeing directory info on UMD.
- Fixed when resuming from suspend mode, MS Duo was reloaded.
- Added folder copy/move mode, and merged all copy, move, paste feature to one.
- Fixed a bug Filer went down when opening too deep folder structure.
- Text viewer:
- Modified up&down scroll speed on analog pad.
- Binary viewer:
- Modified up&down scroll speed on analog pad.
- Picture viewer:
- Changing picture by left&right, and back to filer, cursor position follows to the last picture you seen.
Thanks to RaiderX for the heads up!

psp filer is good but i do prefer file assistant. its a shame no ones updated it for a looong time.
Wow QJ, only two days later after the actual release
I'm tired of people who come here and ***** about how baaad QJ is. If you hate it so much, don't post here....you're worst then the "OMGZZ FIRST POST" *****ers. Anyways, great release...I love this app.
for me one of the best psp tools - when this tool was not usefull 4 u anyway no problem noob
well as a high school student who transfers files (progs, pics, and songs) between friends' memory sticks, I use psp filer alot and I am VERY VERY glad to see the option of moving whole directories! it was a tedious task moving eboots to ramdisk, then making the folder, then pasting the file, and repeating this for my couple friends (while trying to avoid getting caught by the teacher! ^_^)... now, it's much easier! (and faster!) Much thanks to Mediumgauge and all others involved! ^_^
