PSP DocMaker GUI 2.0 for Linux |
Ó
Two days after TheNameless released his PSP DocMaker GUI v0.2 for Windows, he greets us with another update. He is happy to announce that he's just finished working on a Linux version of the brew, ready for downloading.
TheNameless says that this is the first time he's ever ported a GUI program to the Linux OS, so we're congratulating him this on successful attempt.
As of the moment, the maximum page number for any document here is 100. TheNameless suggests to try setting the documents to 480, or using smaller fonts.
Requirements:
- X-Server
- GTK
- xterm, or easyer: a normal desktop linux installation
- Note: These binaries are i386 builds (32bit), for other please ask (64bit, Sparc)
- Compression level (1-9) selectable
- GTK dialogs (of course)
- Some other file-types (but jpg, bmp and png support both)
- Uses other picture renderer (I think the pictures looks better)
- Uses a external PNG converter

finally us linux users get a good program
You know, the Linux console hacking world doesn't get nearly enough love (even with some of the Linux-On-A-[Insert console name here] projects). The great thing about this is that since it's open source, it should be easy to make work on BSD and OS X, assuming you have the dev kit installed (XCode, a free download), as well as the dependencies (try fink or DarwinPorts).
thank for your effort porting thos great app to linux
