Ó

PSP - Image 1Jas0nuk has released a new version of PRXdecrypter, bringing this psardumper mod up to version 1.7. This version of PRXdecrypter has quite a few improvements, so check out the changelog below to see what's new.
  • Fully compatible with HEN/2.71/3.xx kernel/3.60 M33 - Just copy PRXdecrypter_3XX folder to GAME. Have fun, firmware modders.
    • OE and M33 users should also use this version, just put it in GAME352 or GAME (if you have that set to the 3.52 kernel)
    • 1.50 users (if any of you still exist) or those who want to use the 1.50 kernel, use the kxploited version.
    • I will maintain this version in case the 3.XX kernel changes significantly which breaks PRXdecrypter
  • Added 3.60 and 3.7X keys
  • HEN/3.XX version doesn't need sysmem_rlz.prx for RLZ decompression as it uses the function from the 3.xx kernel
  • Huge internal cleanup with clearer messages, better error handling and more speed.
  • Improved logging (logs almost everything now)
  • Press O to UnSignCheck all files in the ms0:/enc folder
  • Press RIGHT on the D-PAD to extract reboot_02g.bin from loadexec_reboot_02g.prx (from 3.60 or higher)
Please note that the HEN/3.xx version will not run on the 1.50 kernel and vice versa. Jas0nuk also mentions that "SystemCtrl.prx from M33 3.52-3 or higher will not decompress as it uses a custom SignCheck". This feature may be added in a future version, though.

Read the bundled readme.txt file carefully for more information before you install this app. The well-being of your PSP could depend on it.

» Ha!

I am 1.5 fw FYI, so there!

» kxploit sux

if you use 1.5 then install the kxploit patch. Install it anyway... that way you will never have trouble with compatability problems with newer firmwares and kxploit. Using a single eboot lets you know for sure (if your homebrew doesn't run) that the homebrew is either looking for a hard coded path, or isn't compatible (1.5 kernel calls on psp slim)

the kxploit patch should be the top sticky file on EVERY PSP homebrew page/forum on the 'net IMHO

Dear QJ: Please, stop acting like you know what you're talking about.

This is the second time you guys have implied that decryption is dangerous.

» hey

shut up and don't complain, it's for the security of your handheld. WTF is your problem? Be happy that QJ actually write such comments, without them many PSP users would have a bricked PSP now.

Sure, such a program can't brick your PSP, that's clear. But C'mon, QJ don't write that just to annoy you.Sometimes I don't understand people....

» QJ is lame

This is so lame. They call every homebrew dangerous. They make claims about homebrew without even reading the readme carefully.
